Today’s game is Max Payne 2. I did the fun house today. Made Mona shoot a flamingo. Surprisingly the game went by really fast tonight. It took me a total of 40 minutes to do the funhouse and then manor sections, which i think are a total of 3 levels. I forget how short these games can be once you kind of know what you’re doing. It almost makes me feel ballsy enough try another playthrough on the highest difficulty. Almost.
While going through the manor this guy dove into the wall. I like to think he saw Max, and decided he’d rather take his chances with the wall. This was the only clip i’ve really been able to get from this game. Something is up with Steam’s Clip function unfortunately.
This particular section i also struggled with, until i realized i could just shoot the explosive barrels before hopping down. Before i’d hop down and they’d blow up and kill me with them. This way i stand far more of a chance.
A similar thing happened with this section where you have to run for the panic room. It took me a little while to figure out i had to wait for the Panic room to drop down. Once it did i locked myself in and waited out the explosions.
Before turning off the game, i got a screenshot of the exit message. I don’t know why, but something felt appropriate about capturing this. For all i know this could be the last time i ever turn the game on. And i guess, “i was afraid to go on”, with in this case Going on being the higher difficulties.
I did actually do that for some posts, but people like to guess the game so i stopped doing that. The middle ground i reached was just putting the game in the first sentence (and if i remember bolding it too)

Love these posts! A small suggestion: could you add the title of the game in the post title too in the future? :)
But that would change the format of the title! And while it has evolved over the time, that would feel so weird!
