Today’s game is some more REPO. There’s a new Beta apparently and some friends were asking me to play with them. One new feature i think is new is that the Uranium stuff actually hurts you. We found this out the hard way after one of our friends dropped one on a bed and accidentally killed themselves.
On the subject of Uranium, on the new map included with the game we found these giant ass green cups which hurt a whole hell of a lot more. I climbed inside one of them and it got tipped over onto me and smashed into pieces hurting me and everyone in the general area.
The art musuem also has these funky statues around the place, such as this one of the player with a ton of cash in it’s mouth. My favorite was a Boombox you can pick up that lights up the area like a rave with disco music blaring and making you shake your head. It’s a lot of fun, especially to see.
Speaking of new items. There’s a barrel now to put the damn duck in just to keep it from going ham on everyone within range. It doesn’t do it’s job very well but it’s funny too see the Duck walk around with it on it’s head like a feathered roomba. You can also get players stuck in it which is fun.
There was a ton of stuff that i got clips of, and by me i mean my friend because Bazzite’s clip function doesn’t work in game mode. I can’t share most of them because names and voices are attached, but here’s a picture of my friend stopping to get one of the clips and getting his head stuck in a wall.
While not able to share it, one clip i can describe is this one, where we
accidentally killed one of our friends with a grenade in a shop. I got launched into the corner here. After the dust settled we got his head, gave him a full blown funeral with an Acapella rendition of taps and then flushed him down the toilet in a proper funeral.
This game can also be played solo, for anyone curious. And even solo it’s fun to play just a bit harder since no one can revive you. It’s not like Lethal Company where it becomes impossible to solo after the first few rounds.
