A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it’s price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don’t meet the system requirements, or just haven’t had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

See… I think it’s kind of a bad game for all the same reasons.
I think I bounce pretty hard off the stated intent to make the player feel the suffering of living through war. I’m not going to play a game that intentionally sets me up to fail.
I can kinda agree. I mean, I usually play to have fun and blow off the stress of a work day. This War of Mine isn’t good for neither. But it’s an amazing game and I agree, it’s built to make you fail. But how else will it let you feel how civilians feel in a war if it was easy to win?
More walking simulator less actual gaming.
Eh, I like games with minimal gameplay and heavy story. I loved What Remains of Edith Finch and Dear Esther.
I also like more intense games as well, like the Metro series and Alan Wake.
Different games for different moods.
