so much wrong here. a 20 year old with disposable income and time to fly across the country cuz of an argument in a free mmo with mediocre reviews and was able to find a stranger’s address??
hello fellow CMDR o7
ED had so much potential to be…more, yet there are hardly many games that fill that void so I keep on coming back lol. surprisingly, Subnautica has everything I ever wanted in a space game without being a space game
my only concern is that Midnight Suns was riddled with bugs and very high hardware demand, but the xcom 1+2 engine would work great with a Sims game, hell I’ll take a Sims Tactics at this point
xbox is my top controller design (360 onwards), however the touchpad on ps4/ps5 comes in handy for RTS games (or any mouse required game). it’s a missed opportunity for microsoft, considering they’re bringing Age of Empires to the console
i was around during the first lvl 200, fully support the player’s decision. ppl asking “why play then?” have never been in an abusive relationship. it’s a great game tbh, just filled with mtx & grinding to the brim. ima check out his latest vids @tniru to see his side of the story
what really bugs me are fighting games with dlc characters. i know fighting games arent as profitable, but twenty years ago you could unlock every character by actually playing the game. locking content behind paywalls are a slap to poor gamers. that’s on top of a $60 price tag
ive had success playing RTS games using an xbox controller mapped with joy2key (or steam input). you can also use a ps5 controller as a touchpad (ds4windows for mapping)
i sometimes remember that there are millions out there who will never experience gaming beyond a phone, and that makes me sad
