You can move things to and from different drives in the steam settings pretty easily, so in the past I used to archive larger games I was not playing to a large HDD on my system to avoid having to download it all again.

When I wanted to play again I moved it back to my SSD.

Amazing how they can just hack off large sections of the customer base with such ease. Might as well not worry about steam deck support if no offline mode.

I still don’t know what this was really about after watching the show… how am I going to know what to do in an RPG version.

You can spend real-world money on a virtual currency called San Van Bucks, which in turn is used to buy cosmetic items.

I hate this but if it’s just cosmetics and the game price is fair I’ll be ok with it. I know the price is going to be a full on AAA release and they will still cram this into it… but I can hope.

I feel them killing 1&2 online which felt like early sours me on wanting to get this.

But I have no idea…

It feels like things are so powerful and complex that failure rates of all these devices is much higher now.

Every cart is made by Nintendo first party or not… its a proprietary media format…

I feel like Nintendo licence agreement for all the games would have some clause your not allow to dump or run the game on other hardware.

I feel like the system was neat but it only had a handful of games that I kept coming back to.

Growing up then, I seem to recall the nail in the coffin was around the time we could use discjuggler to burn to standard CDRs.

3rd party games kinda tanked when anyone with a burner could download and burn the iso with no mod chip.
