Anyone with good media equipment cares when they consider purchasing a game. Nobody needs this info every time they launch it.

Damn man I went to Paris, visited the International Bureau of Weights and Measures. They displayed you as the standard of a clown. Very impressive.

No, I’m not sincere with a person who completely ignored my point that Windows-alike DE doesn’t make Linux a viable alternative due to lack of software and hardware support. Stop lecturing people when nobody asked for a lecture.

They still haven’t figured out this isn’t reddit. Shouldn’t downvote just because you don’t agree with something my dudes…

Well, that’s not a feature of reddit after all. People are the same, no matter where they are.

No KDE or Gnome theme will bring drivers for software and hardware that is only working on Windows, unfortunately.

You can try, but people won’t be as thrilled for TES or Fallout without Bethesda, for example.

I live in one of the grey countries. You can create an account, but Sony offers different stores in different countries, so you have to pick another country. They even sells consoles in many of the grey countries. The biggest issue is that you probably won’t be able to buy anything without extra hustle because your card is not issued in the country of your PSN account. Also, this is technically against their ToS. But you can create an account to play Helldivers 2.

With that said, I can’t speak for all countries. Maybe somewhere it’s really impossible to create an account without VPN.

And that’s why they can afford investing in VR and in games like HL: Alyx. I enjoyed it very, very much.

You have to conquer areas of the city to proceed with the story. You go to some place like a factory, kill everyone, leave, a boss of the factory becomes alerted, comes to the factory, you go back and kill everyone again to get to the boss, kill or hire the boss. And that’s like 80% of the game. I think there were 20-30 repetitive missions like that with 0 substance. But Mafia I and Mafia II are fully focused on the story.

I did read it. But y’all love getting on your high horse over false assumptions 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t bother reading it either

🤡 🤡 🤡

Mate, if you cared about your time, you wouldn’t argue on Lemmy under a post about something you didn’t even read.

How does this contradict what they said though? Just because some niche community knows these games, it doesn’t make them platform-selling games. Valve had HL2 with episodes, Portal, TF2, CS, and Dota 2.

Where does it say that you can’t make an app? From my understanding, you can’t distribute in their store. Nobody is taking away your hardware or blocks you from using it.

Why? I don’t see what blocks people from using it with a PC.

I haven’t finished it on my PS5, and I could essentially buy it twice. But Sony blocks save transfers 🤷‍♂️

First of all, who are you to decide what I need and what I don’t need? Secondly, okay, 1500-2000 EUR for a mid-range PC. Even the lower boundary is 2.5 times more expensive than PS5. With Xbox the difference is even bigger.

600EUR console vs 2000-3000EUR PC. I get it, PC gives you more options what to do and what to play, but getting a console is not waste of money in my books.

It’s not going to be less powerful than the current systems.

It’s not like the headline implies that it could or should be less powerful. It’s a simple headline that conveys a simple message that a regular reader might find worth clicking.

Maybe you should read how software is developed, what roles there are, how business functions in general, and so on - all that before blaming anyone for anything on the internet.

60 EUR, it’s nice to see this instead of 70 or 80. I’ll be waiting for the release and reviews, ports are not always great performance and quality-wise.

Are there physical disks with this game? I checked in local stores, and on the Deutsch Amazon - there’s nothing for PS5.
