What’s wrong with gog? Just download the offline installer and do with it whatever you want.


And requires heating + prying.

If this is considered replaceable, I wonder what an non-replaceable battery would be. Soldered to the main board and trying to unsolder it causes a failsafe to short the CPU?


I don’t hate From, I just don’t care for souls-like and so I’ve been starved for AC games for years. Hopefully the mechanics from souls won’t seep into AC.


I was talking more about the big studio releases in general. I also recommend keeping an eye on the studio if you love them that much, it’s not uncommon for core devs responsible for making a studio great in the first place quitting and leaving behind an empty shell.

Or worse, they find a more profitable franchise and turns your favorite one into a side project. Looking at you, From.


I don’t think the son of a FTC judge really depends on his Microsoft job to not go hungry.


Devs can do no wrong, it’s always the publishers.


Just don’t buy it or wait a couple years to grab it at good discount. Or if you’re feeling extra feisty, take the high seas.

Fallout 1: I’m not good with isometric RPGs, the top-down view makes me feel less immersed in the game. Because of that, I didn’t feel engaged by Fallout 1 the first time I tried. I was able to enjoy it when I revisited it years later.

Armored Core 1: I loved this game when I was a child but trying to play nowadays the lack of analog stick support makes the control really suck and I stopped playing before even finishing the first level.

There’s probably more but I can’t remember right now.
