Just let me crank out a couple of games, please. I will never become “invested” in your story, I don’t care for it one bit. It’s like some people enjoy movies, but not series. Same for me. I just don’t like it

I remember loving GTA2 but wanting a 3D GTA, then when they came out I never played GTA ever again

• “New” Teams
• OneDrive Documents/Desktop folder hijacking
• Bing forced into the start menu
• ADS!
• Windows Recall
• Context menu extra clicks
• Search still can’t find shit
• Paint 3D
• Photos app
• XBox game bar
• Windows updates

Steam took years and years earning customers trust slowly but surely. Why would we greet Epic, EA, Ubisoft, Blizzard with anything other than suspicion?

There being a barrier to entry isn’t Steam’s fault. If someone comes and makes a competitor launcher and storefront that is just as good, people can easily switch. Both developers and customers. Nobody is locked in

That explains. What Hitman version are you referring to? You said Steam port but I own Hitman World of Assassination on Steam using an XBox controller, and I never thought the controls were poor. But you’re specifically talking about Steam Deck. I cannot comment on that

Cities Skylines is a better example, I remember how much Sim City sucked, but Cities Skylines knocked it out of the park
