NFS Unbound wasn’t taken too well by the community. I recently replayed NFS Heat (which was the release before unbound) and it is still a great modern NFS game!

I hope so as well, as Valve is one of the few companies left these days not consisting of shareholder imbeciles.

You forgot

  • MS buys all the competition
  • MS kills said companies they bought before so everyone has to use their half assed shit product

  • You can remove the search bar (which was the only thing bugging me about the “original”)
  • changing icon and font sizes, shapes, font families, …
  • actions for screen double tapping (“lock screen” is what i use)
  • is open source

I liked it, I guess I could have emphasized that a little more. I just wished there would be more to it, since the game is coming from a big publisher (2K) and the imho hefty asking price of 40€ (for the definitive edition, without sale).

No need to feel sorry for voting on opinions either way btw ;)

I kind of liked it but there was not enough content to justify the price, even at the sale i got it from. But maybe i was just asking too much from a game that has been released more than 20 years ago.

I’m not going to play Mafia 2 since Mafia 1 was way too short for me, like 5-6 hours and I didn’t rush it. Not much to do after the main story ist complete and not the biggest replay value.

Oh yes please. I’d still buy a steam deck bc of their hardware support but nonetheless, this is great news for all those other released handhelds that are held back by windows.

GOG stands (or stood idk) against DRM measures, to which i would count gaming in a cloud with uncertainty if you would get your savefiles if you want to continue offline, therefor your possibility to play a game is bound to being online, etc.

That said, you can still get all your games as offline installer. With cloud gaming they are trying their best to stay relevant / competitive in the market, so good for them. I still buy my games on GOG if it’s available, but won’t play in the cloud.

Edit: The article states that the DRM-free aspect stays the same and your savefiles will be available through gog galaxy (and therefor heroic on linux)

If someone is interested in playing this, you can get it for 2 bucks on GOG, it’s their mission to keep old games from getting lost media after all. I haven’t had much success with the scaling on linux through lutris though.
