It took that time before the update for me as well. 1-2 minutes for every loading screen. There was a mod for that (before the next-gen update) that you could not load via nexus, bc the setup was a little more conplex, but it worked really well (see https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10283 )
The method of this mod was to speed up the fps only while in the loading screen to 300-350 bc the loading times were somehow tied to the fps. Well done Bethesda.
That’s what I was thinking the whole time. I mean, it’s not that far of a guess.
The choice gesture vs. nav button is usually part of android itself. In my case (pixel with therefor nearly stock android) its in settings -> system -> navigation mode (or something similar since its in german in my case). If you can’t find it, search for “navigation button your phone model”.
Edit: sorry, i just realized you meant the app drawer, not the overview of currently opened apps. I don’t know the answer to that.
Edit edit: ok i found something in lawnchairs settings. The last setting is called gestures. If you have navigation buttons enabled instead of nav gestures (see above) you could bind the home button to open the app drawer.
Lawnchair is a fork of the original pixel launcher that gives some quality of life upgrades to an already good piece of software, like being able to remove the search bar, resizable / reshapable icons and fonts usw. Its also open source, so feel free to check out the github.
There is no app store release right now but they are working on it. I’ve used the alpha versions for two years now and it has worked fine so far.
Well, those games you listed are good indeed, maybe i just bought my gear at a bad time. It just confuses me a little this happens to a game that is being waited for so badly. If they would be confident to successfully sell their game to end users, they wouldn’t need to force it on AMDs customers. On the other hand, maybe AMD is the one profiting from this deal since it could push their sold units.
This is a bad omen for starfield imo. All the games i got with my AMD components last year (e.g. forspoken) were garbage. Maybe Bethesda is anticipating that they can’t keep up with the hype around the game which will be badly optimized or buggy at launch (like any other bethesda game) and try to save some profit.
But then again, most gamers have the worst impulse control and will even buy a steaming piece of shit if there’s a possibility to preorder it.
I was really hyped for the Zenfone 9 since it had all the features i wanted, and the 10 seems to be just as stunning. I wouldn’t even mind paying the higher price for some unique features in a small package, but two years of updates for a flagship is a big no for me.
Got a pixel 6a instead for half the price and five years of updates, directly from the source.
This is cool, since this game is pretty suitable for local coop. I just hope they also did some optimization, since my endgame village has about 30fps on a midrange gaming pc
