The Czech Republic citizen so excuse my English language mistakes 🫡
Cellphone is something too much personal so I prefer a new device, cause I’ll be having it for its whole lifespan. I went for S23 8/256 on 6 of February and no regrets cause I’ll be having it for whole 5y. But I got it for 600$, I wouldn’t pay the full price.
I had only one phone from second hand and it was xperia compact z1. It wasn’t bad deal, but it was already 2y old, but for the price it was ridiculous deal. It lasted 2 years and I had to upgrade to new device, newly bought this time.
I assume if I had to I’d not mind buying second hand again but only max 1y old (since premiere) device, from reputable reseller and it would have to be flagship only.
I’ve been rooting my phones since 2011 and never had issues with banking apps. Also I don’t use Android pay cause I always strip my phone as much as possible of Google’s surveillance. I honestly cannot use phone without root cause it would fly out of window before evening.
If you want to take it a leap further and become autonomous of Google and others, you will use Graphene OS. But for you it would be cruel torture cause you seem to be deeply into Google’s ecosystem. I’m not deeply in it and it will be hard for me. But I’m prepared with my next update.
It’s up to the fact if you value your privacy and data over convenience. And that’s what they count on…
It’s matter of preference. If you like clean android go google if you like to customize go Samsung. If you like best power go Samsung if you don’t want top end hardware go google. If you want complete privacy and security go google and install graphene os. I love customizability with decent privacy while having small device so I’m rooted on S23.
This game is just ridiculous. Overhyped advertising, terrible optimalization, 10 years old graphics, so many loadscreens, plain story, no real space exploration, perk wall to do anything, horrible UI and they call it next gen open world space exploration RPG. I stopped playing after 10 hours so I can make a good assumption but it got only worse and worse. I don’t have time to waste it on this. Even if it starts being more enjoyable later it doesn’t excuse all the issues.
No, thanks… As long as I can download whatever I want whenever I want (add it to nas and watch through Kodi having like Netflix experience), there is no way that those people will get my money. Most of it is just bullshit anyway. And if I like or want to support some quality release I’ll go to cinema.
Until they make the protective screen durable up to lvl 5 scratches without dmg, ip 68 protection, flat front side without slightly risen bezels so I can comfortably use gestures, even the battery size and camera capabilities with normal flagships and the price of course, it’s a nono for me. 🤔 Otherwise overpriced gimmick…
The battery, though glued to body of phone, is still easily replaceable. I don’t understand why people complain about it. Just remove the back with heat, use IPA to remove it, glue new one there and glue the back and you’re done. Yes, you might need some tools to it, which are cheap, or you just use your imagination and use what you have home. Only thing which you really need apart from new battery is the glue to glue back the back of phone. It cost me 1$ on ebay…
Samsung S23 - compact, little beast with good battery life and camera. Rocking it since presale and it’s the best device I have ever had.
