I wanted to get BG3, but the constant deep throating by neckbeards is making me gag. Now I don’t want it for the same reason bigots won’t play TLOU2: politics.

I’m sure BG3 is fantastic. It’s also not a reason for people to tell me why I shouldn’t enjoy the games I do.

Pixel call screening is a life changing feature. I have not receive or spoken to a spam caller in over 3 years. This feature alone will keep me using Pixel.

Yea that’s true. You still can’t design and build an iphone, or near any physical product, remotely. But this is what people want to do. I work for a manufacturing company and there are engineers who want to stay at home and never see the prototypes and never colloborate on them in person. They aren’t going to last much longer. Good riddance. I’m pointing this out because there is a comment below me that says this is “all about control”. There’s a ton of jobs that should not be done remotely. There are a ton of jobs that can be done remotely too. The world is complicated.

Jedi Survivor was amazing on launch. I play on PS5 and could not give less shits about frames per second. No regrets per-ordering. Diablo 4 was also great on launch and I per-ordered that. I’ll continue to pre-order whatever I want.

KeePass can only save passwords to a local file. No password syncing across desktop and mobile. This makes it unusable for me.

I use keepass at work for system administration - where I don’t care about syncing my password to my phone. But other people reading this should be aware that keepass is very different (very useless) for the average person.

I have given feedback on google maps on businesses that are either closed or have the wrong hours on google maps. Google maps has a feedback option that is easily accessible from location on the map. That’s about the extent I am willing to participate.

This is why these alternatives fail. We could be talking about maps or MS Office. If the end user has to “fix” the software, it will fail. Google spends A LOT of money maintaining google maps so that the user does not have to.
