I was literally googling earlier today to see if there were any updates on the next installment. Maybe it was subconsciously influenced by current events?

Spider-Man 2, PS5. Pretty well-rounded game, highly recommend it

TL;dr: a bunch of code names for games and speculation. Still fun to think about

Did we really need another movie-inspired asymmetrical horror game?

In terms of games, Kingdom Hearts and Guitar Hero were highlights of my childhood.

I thought the Dreamcast had the weakest technical specs of that generation? PS2 was also earlier than other consoles in that generation, so slightly lower specs makes sense.

Changing designs due to market pressures isn’t censorship. Remember the Sonic movie, where they redid the animation due to criticism? Nobody was outraged at that change but when it’s tits, all of a sudden people care.

Not me, but looking at prices, the $500 I paid for my 6950 beats a lot of used prices out there now

I’ve seen no evidence that this was due to pressure from Sony. Also, if the only way you get off is absurd outfits on characters, you could just get a life instead of signing a useless petition.

Edit: considering how much shit this game got after trailers came out, maybe it’s not some grand conspiracy and just the company reacting to market demands? It’s fine when it’s the Sonic movie, but it’s TERRIBLE when they give a woman pants!

I thought 5 was pretty solid until the ending. 6 felt uninspired but not bad.

The reboots, they’ve owned the rights (or maybe ZeniMax technically?) of both for over a decade. I think id was bought out. So the Doom 2016 and Wolfenstein 2014 games and newer games are Bethesda published.

Edit: ZeniMax bought id in 2009, so Doom and Doom Eternal, as well as Wolfenstein New Order, New Colossus and the two spinoffs (Youngblood, Old Blood) are Bethesda-published.

Weird coincidence, I’m in the middle of this rn. Haven’t played Starfield but this is one of my favorite Bethesda titles outside of Doom and Wolfenstein

This is why I avoid Souls style games. I’ve tried a couple and don’t find it rewarding to fail so much.

Read this as “6-year-old or older gamers” and was pretty shocked 40% of gamers were 5 or younger lol

That’s one specific promotion, not really the same as embedding microtransactions in the game

I admit I didn’t realize the sequel even came out yet, but it has an 88/9.0 on Metacritic. Overlooked maybe, but underrated?

lol thanks haha, would’ve never thought of that one ;)

Holy shit there’s a Katamari Vita game?! That was my childhood!!!

Actually got into Danganronpa because I wanted to find something like Zero Escape lol… but it is a great series!

I see Ys mentioned a lot! I’m a casual JRPG fan (played Persona 3, 5, maybe half the Tales games, maybe 3-4 FF games, Xenoblade trilogy, Bravely Default + both sequels, 2 or 3 Dragon Quest games, and probably a handful of others). Anything in particular that you’d compare Ys with? And do you recommend I play it in any specific order? I skimmed the site and it looks like they’re all connected, although not in order, which makes me think of MGS.

I would NEVER buy a vita just to unlock it and play the Tales of Innocence English Patch. Idk what you’re talking about, piracy is illegal!!!1 And what sort of loser drunkenly impulse purchases a video game system on eBay because they want to play one game?

edit: if you are reading this, you definitely shouldn’t buy an SD2Vita card for a dollar on AliExpress, which is like 1/10th the price of Amazon and the exact same product. Just like you should never engage in piracy!

Huge Danganronpa fan actually, but I’ve played them all on other systems. I’ve somehow played P3 and P5 without P4, so thats a great recommendation!

Any recommendations for PS Vita games?
I picked up a Vita recently. So far, Gravity Rush is the only game that I definitely want to play. Any other recommendations? I’m pretty open with genres, as long as it’s something with a story.
fedilink

It took them years to go after the RomHacks, so that’s not much of an argument

Visual novel types of games, maybe? Anything from Quantic Dream, Telltale

The sad thing imo is they had massive plans for Dead Space 4 that they abandoned because Dead Space 3 was pretty meh.

I got through most the first, but heard the rest weren’t as good. Which did you like the most?

Games? Maybe. Movies? You’re seeing your past through rose colored glasses

Reading his bio, he seems legit. Just has a quirky sense of humor.
