a Half-Life nutjob and an idiotic smartass. more of a listener than an active conversationalist. 🙃

i’d like to imagine that people who don’t know about OP4 {and Blue Shift, to an extent.} are people who aren’t really familiar with Half-Life either. i’d argue Decay is the most obscure of the official campaign expansions, since it officially only released on the PS2 port of HL1.

my personal fascination with the HL expansions is the fact they kinda influenced the modding scene by inspiring people to make numerous mods that are about “reliving the Black Mesa incident, but you are [INSERT PROTAGONIST HERE].”

here are my timesinks.

there are slight caveats to that data. first of all, i actually have more time spent within Terraria, since i have about 144 hours recorded in tModLoader.

and second of all, i do estimate about 250 hours spent in Fallout: New Vegas as well. but since i own it on GOG and not Steam, i do not know for sure.

i can’t access it from the desktop.

i picked up 3 games.

Serious Sam Siberian Mayhem. i liked SS4 a lot and have heard good things about Siberian Mayhem.

Alan Wake American Nightmare. i enjoyed the first Alan Wake game so i’m interested in what AN has to offer.

and Push the Cat with WASD. i played the demo during the summer Next Fest and i was intrigued by it. a nice little brain teaser.

us Half-Life fans are eating good this month. first, we get Project Borealis Prologue, and now HL2 update and the game going free to own for a limited time. i am so going to enjoy checking the update out. and the documentary as well.

both Resident Evil VII and Village.

Max Payne is a great series. while i first experienced it late in my lifetime, i still found enjoyment in the series. it kick-started my fascination with Remedy’s games as well as my fandom towards HEALTH, who composed the score for MP3.

i do think MP3 is a bit underrated, given the reception it had initially.

i can’t wait for your game to be finished. as a The Stanley Parable and Title_Pending enjoyer, this will be right up my alley.

congrats on finishing the game. i’ll wait till next spring to do yet another annual playthrough.

of course before nuking said dragon with an ICBM, have you considered building some form of industrial automated construction?

you’re referring to the Chinese Stealth Suit from Fallout 3’s DLC called Operation: Anchorage.

the Stealth Suit from New Vegas is from the Old World Blues DLC.

implying i have 70 friends who don’t own Terraria already.

hey, a fellow IPS user! still the only app i bought the pro version of.

that’s very unfortunate, curse you, licensing shenanigans!

Spec Ops: The Line is a pretty decent pick when it comes to having “morally ambiguous choices”. the game itself states that there are no “real good choices” and thus, you must pick between the two evils.

BG3 winning GOTY and LC winning BWF awards make sense. what doesn’t make sense is Starfield being innovative, RDR2 having constant dev support and Pizza Tower being robbed for the second time.

never expected for this to be actually happening!

just played Beyond Sunset yesterday. a fun and dynamic arena FPS that takes some elements from Doom Eternal. it’s made on GZDoom.
