I enjoyed it. It’s definitely a different feel than previous AC games, so if you go in hoping for that, you might be disappointed. I think it’s definitely worth checking out, especially if you can get it on sale.

In my case, little of column a, little of column b.

I’m starting to question my life a lot. I’ve played over 4k hours of BoI since the first version. I remember when people warned about WoW before I really gamed and how people were sinking their whole lives into it and I was like, “wow, can’t imagine, that’s crazy,” and now I’m those people. I should go outside.

I know people say it doesn’t matter but I’m the same way with Stardew. I ended up downloading a cheat mod that lets you freeze time because I realized it’s supposed to be a nice, relaxing game, and I wasn’t feeling that way. I don’t use the freeze much, but it lets me enjoy the game without stressing.

I kind of did the opposite but ended up in the same place - I loved the newer Fallouts so I thought I’d give 2 a shot and combat was just so bad that I couldn’t get more than a couple of hours in. I tried it again a couple years later and same thing. I know a lot of people would riot, but I kind of wish they’d remake the exact same story/writing with modernized gameplay so I could experience it.

I’m not sure. I never use the full dnd setting, so I haven’t had to try any alternatives. I just know dnd seems to work better than apps that say they’ll block spam.

Put your phone on do not disturb for anyone not in your contacts. I almost never get spam calls anymore because my phone just sends them all straight to voicemail and they seem to have figured out that they’ll never get through to a real person. It took a few months, and I still had to clear out quite a few voicemails in that time but I didn’t get notifications about them so I could just clear them out at the end of the day.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a little older but it kind of reminds me of Edith Finch in vibes. It’s also really beautiful.

Yesss, I loved both of those games. Pentiment was so strange - there are things I didn’t love about it, but I still got so sucked in that I’d wake up the morning and be eager to start playing again to find out what happens next. I haven’t felt that way about a game in a while.

Probably not much this time. I don’t think Dredge really falls under lesser known, but I might pick that up. I’ll probably get House Flipper 2 - the first one was one of my go-tos for destressing, so I’m hoping the sequel will fill the same niche. Otherwise, I’ve either bought most of what I’ve been looking at in previous sales or played it on gamepass/ea play.

I would think so too but this entire decision has felt like the company is shooting itself in the foot, so who even knows anymore.

I’m not sure it’s legal to implement it retroactively. I’d be very curious to get an attorney’s perspective - seems a lot like trying to unilaterally change a contract after both parties have signed. But I have a hard time imagining anyone being willing to develop using Unity going forward.

That’s awesome! Elianora’s mods have been basically a mandatory download for me for years because the quality is always incredible. She absolutely deserves this.
