I think you mean HeRNGmes

But yeah Hades is a good game. Got it in the latest Steam Summer Sale. it’s my current couch / big screen Deck game.

My current desktop game is still Just Cause 2.

Yeah, I probably should have clarified that a bit more.

Stick Fight is an online multiplayer brawler. Think Smash Bros, but with super short rounds. Rounds lasting longer than 15 seconds are the exception.

So it’s a nice game to play while waiting for your other online gaming buddies arrive.

Stick Fight: The Game is super cheap, and a nice warming up game.

I started Red Faction Guerrilla (Steam Edition) a couple of weeks ago. Solid game from 2009. Though the game world does feel a bit empty.

I’ve heard of it, never played it. Sounds like the antithesis of Viscera Cleanup Detail.

Man, Furi, I tried and couldn’t get past the tutorial, lol

Same. The soundtrack is killer, though. It’s in my regular rotation on Spotify.

BL1 is kind of an outlier. I don’t like playing FPS with controllers; I’m more of a kb/mouse person. Decided to try BL1 on the Deck because I know it pretty well, it’s not as fast paced in late game as 2/TPS and 3, and it plays nice with a flick stick layout.

I use the Deck mostly undocked, on the couch, and for games that don’t require my full attention or can be played in short bursts.

What are my favourites on the Deck?

  • Vampire Survivors - I should really get back to that one. I have the DLC’s, but I don’t think I’ve played since getting them
  • Army of Ruin - a Vampire Survivors clone, but prettier. By the devs of the Ziggurat series.
  • Rogue-likes/lites like Noita and Rogue Legacy
  • Okami - is still a damn pretty game. Completed it on the Wii ages ago. Should get back to it on the Deck as well, but I’m stuck on a mandatory minigame. Pretty much the only flaw in a otherwise perfect game.

Anything Borderlands really, except for the Tales of the Borderlands adventure games.

I’m currently playing BL1 on the Deck.

Carmageddon Resurrection.

  • Performance sucked on release. It still might
  • They promised a native Linux version in their crowd funding campaign …
  • … and then back-pedalled on that. In stead they made a trailer in which several penguins were killed.
  • Also: not that fun, as far as I remember.
