Cannot wait for this, I wishlisted it immediately when I first saw a post about it over the weekend.

I was in a similar situation but I ended up creating a support ticket. They responded by asking me to verify my ownership by responding to their email from the account I didn’t have anymore… So you saved yourself some wasted time by not attempting to resolve the issue with them.

IIRC Steam has used that first clause to limit Steam keys being provided on another store at a cheaper price. I believe devs have been allowed (maybe unofficially) to sell at whatever price they want if there’s no steam key being provided.

Tom Francis (the dev behind TBW and many other great games) posted videos throughout the dev cycle of the game on his YouTube channel. They’re definitely worth a watch for anyone interested in game design/development.

I completely agree, I really enjoyed D:OS II but I just haven’t been able to get into BG3 so far. I can’t say anything was bad or poorly accomplished but it’s just not clicking for me yet.

Such a fantastic song. Not at all surprising that it was the first piece of music from a video game to not only be nominated for but to win a Grammy.

They do except there’s the additional condition of 2 weeks since purchase date. So as long as you’ve played less than 2 hours and purchased within 2 weeks, you’ll get an automatic refund (unless you abuse the system, but I’ve returned many games over the years and never had issues).

Dave the Diver on my steamdeck and Forza Motorsport on Xbox.

I love that it’s already been added to Valve Time.

The volumetric smoke grenades look really interesting. I’ve only seen the clips on their websites but it seems like a great way to add a bit more complexity to them.

I’ve had a Samsung watch for a few years and I’m definitely not careful with it but it has easily put up to all of my abuse and the battery still lasts a couple days or more. Nothing I can really complain about.

Agreed, definitely excited to see what the revised tech tree does to the initial stage of a playthrough as well. This seems like a great way to make the game feel fresh and change up a player’s approach.

You do realize he can charge absolutely any price he wants for a product he created right? He doesn’t have to even offer an ad-supported version, but he’s decided to give the user the choice. If someone wants to use his app for free, they can. And if they don’t agree with his model, they can just not use the app. It’s really not a predatory practice.

I mean, yeah, obviously the dev would rather people pay the subscription when some of the Ultra features require server work and/or continued costs (translation, OCR, etc.).

Developing Sync is his full time job, which is why it initially shipped without a lifetime tier. People voiced their opinion and the dev listened by adding the lifetime option and the ad free option. If you don’t like the pricing, use a different app. Nobody is forcing you to use Sync. LJ doesn’t owe you the app for free (or any price outside of what he feels is fair).

Pretty sure the current version on console is the PS4/Xbox One version and this will be a native PS5/Xbox Series version.

Awesome!! Really appreciate the recommendation!! I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for it. I’d love to be able to finally move my 1060 to my unraid server for transcoding.

Yeah I don’t really do much with my desktop anymore outside of gaming so AMD would definitely be good enough. I just haven’t gotten lucky when I remember to check prices lol, I seem to miss a lot of the deals when they come up.

Completely agree, there’s a good chance I’d have upgraded by now if it weren’t for my steamdeck. Especially after getting a dock, I love being able to quickly hook it up to a monitor/tv when I want a bigger screen.

Guess I’ll be hanging on to my 1060 for a bit longer… Been looking to upgrade for a while now but I just can’t justify the prices, especially in Canadian dollars.

I’ve been interested in getting a foldable for a long time but I’ve yet to pull the trigger.

Would you mind expanding on how the Pixel Fold and Galaxy Fold3 compare? I had a Pixel 2XL and then switched to a Note20 Ultra when the Pixel started showing its age, and I struggle to see myself going back simply due to OneUI and my SPen. But the Pixel Fold has definitely had me intrigued about going back, I’m just not sure how the Pixel OS compares nowadays, especially with Google’s track-record of not really supporting their own products.

I’m in the same boat with my Note20 Ultra. I’d have a really hard time switching to a different manufacturer after using this phone for the last few years.

I’m always surprised to see people claim oneUI is awful. TouchWiz was absolutely awful but imo oneUI is one of the few android skins that actually improve the experience significantly.

My only complaint is that some settings enable ads in various parts of the interface (but they can be disabled so it’s not a dealbreaker) and that they absolutely ruined Game Launcher. That being said the beta Google Play Games launcher is very good and has basically replaced Game Launcher for me.

I’ve been absolutely loving DREDGE. Picked it up in the summer sale without really knowing anything about it and I’ve been having so much fun with it.

OP, I’d strongly recommend this game but don’t look anything up, it really adds to the suspense and eerieness.

Board Game Arena would be my recommendation. Amazing platform that keeps adding games (typically a new game is added every Wednesday). You can play real-time or turn-based, I almost exclusively play turn-based these days since it allows me to check the website whenever I have a few minutes of free time and play through my turns.

The CP1500PFCLCD is a bit higher MSRP but I’ve seen it frequently at around the same price point as the AVRLCD. Personally, I find it worth the extra even at MSRP for the true sine wave output instead of simulated/stepped.

Huge fan of Bitwarden as well.

I love that you can assign a shortcut for autofill. I found the automatic autofill a bit too trigger happy and the shortcut solves that since it’ll only autofill when I know there’s actually a username/password box on the page. It also works perfectly with websites that ask for the username and password at seperate times (google, Microsoft, etc).
