I mean, Valve already started it back in the day, it was pretty common to buy a physical disk and discover that the installer required you to install steam. Later on they wouldn’t even put the full game on the disk, you just got a key to download it from steam.

They also delist previous titles from stores. Forza 4 disappeared a while ago, 5 will be gone soon. Wouldn’t want anyone buying the older, cheaper, maybe better titles instead of the latest one.

Don’t worry you can just buy one of the older games in the series for less money, oh no they’re not for sale any more, guess they’re abandonware then.

What are you talking about bad voice acting? DX:MD was all serious and professional but it lacked the comic charm of lines like “A bomb’s a bad choice for close range combat”.

He’s an excellent and prolific author of comedic fantasy novels. Its worth at least picking up one of his books to see if its your cup of tea.

Jagged alliance 3 is a very solid sequel, it is very long though.

There’s also a mod to fix the portraits which imo look awful in vanilla.

The expansion campaigns, especially hordes of the underdark were much higher quality.

The whole reason I burned out on W3 was trying to be completionist and doing all the map markers before moving to the next area.
