Yup. Basically, Minecraft wasn’t able to handle the things they wanted to do with the mod, so Vintage Story was born.

I wouldn’t say it’s a Minecraft clone, rather it’s a clone of a Minecraft total conversion mod. If you’ve ever played TerraFirmaCraft, Vintage Story is like that. If you haven’t played it, then I should warn you that Vintage Story is nothing like Minecraft, other than the voxel world. The gameplay is very different, and quite a bit more challenging and complex.

That being said, it’s a fun game, and I really enjoy it.

I wasn’t disagreeing with you, just pointing out your example was a bit wild. I fully agree with your other point. Although I would also point out that the early exclusives were that simply because it just didn’t occur to devs to release a game on more than one console.

While deals weren’t really a part of it, exclusivity has been a feature of console gaming from the very beginning.

I honestly forgot this game was even being made, it’s been so long since they announced it.

I wish I could say this surprised me, but I’ve kind of been expecting this for awhile. They’ve been slowly getting worse for years, it went from just a hobby project to a corporation.

Nobody can answer that question objectively.

That is me literally saying I’ll defend the game. It’s your words that defending the game is defending “greed”, which is a bullshit, weak ass argument.

Just a note, saying “literally” does not, in fact, make something true. Nor am I responsible for your inability to comprehend what you read.

Nobody here has done that, and that’s such a piss-poor attempt at a straw man that you frankly should be ashamed of even trying it.

Oh, sorry for misgendering you then. I meant to say femcel neckbeard.

What I take offense to is incel neckbeards coming into a thread and shitting on everyone who likes something they don’t.

Yeah, you’re a genius all right. You managed to completely miss the whole point of cyberpunk. I imagine any story much more complex than a children’s book just flies right over your head.

It’s going to feature a new city as a second location. Night City will still be there in some way, as the story of Cyberpunk is mostly about Night City. If it didn’t have Night City, it would still be cyberpunk, but it wouldn’t be Cyberpunk.

I play on PC, and the only bug I’ve ever experianced was one time an NPC walked into the sidewalk. Other than that, it’s been smooth sailing.

I’ll defend it if I want. Neither you nor anyone else gets to decide anything for me, so fuck out of here with that attitude. There’s a reason you and the people who share your opinion are getting downvoted so much in this thread. That reason is people think your opinion is shit.

Art is subjective. You don’t get to speak for anyone but yourself. Half the world thinks what you like is shit, but go on about how you know what’s really good.

Literally nobody said that. Your username checks out.

If it’s good enough for Gibson, it’s good enough for me.

Phantom Liberty was the best damn DLC ---- I’ve ---- ever played

Yes, dumbass, which is why I said it’s the best for me, subjectively. Don’t fucking reply if you’re too stupid to read what I write.

I don’t need to reconsider shit, the game is finished, and is amazing.

It’s absolutely a fantastic game. I’m glad Gibson is giving his blessing for the sequel, I’m looking forward to it!

The game is not only finished and complete, but Phantom Liberty was the best damn DLC I’ve ever played for any game in any genre, since the Shivering Isles for Oblivion.

What a blisteringly stupid thing to say, considering art is subjective.

The game is finished. Maybe not finished to your expectations, but it is definitely finished, and is a damn fine action RPG. And Phantom Liberty is the best damn DLC for any game I’ve ever played since the Shivering Isles for Oblivion.

Calling others opinions lies just because you don’t appreciate what they’re saying is what we in the industry like to call a “bitch ass move”.

You can skip the launcher by just using the launch argument to do so.

The first one was finished, and is a fantastic game.

I was never interested in this, but I did enjoy the Connect, for nothing else but being able to control Netflix without getting up.

Sorry, I should have phrased that a little differently. What I mean to say is the game should not be limited to just the mechanics of the older games. There’s so many small mechanics they’ve added since the days of the 2D games on GBA that shouldn’t be ignored just because they aren’t retro.

One mechanic I’ve always loved in any game it’s been in is the ability to have a hideout/home/etc that you can deck out with furniture and whatnot to make it your own. It’s just a comfy mechanic to have.

Old mechanics? No. Old aesthetics? Yes. Pixel graphics are best.

Through this lens it became clear: stablecoins will become a financial backbone for the $500B global gaming economy.

The people interested in alternatives to SteamOS for Linux gaming probably aren’t going to be the sort of people who are interested in cryptocurrency or more micro transactions. I don’t think they have much of a clue what their target audience likes.

GOG also doesn’t support Linux. And I’m not gonna hold that against Epic if I don’t hold it against GOG.

The electromagnetic ones that have no drifting and 3D Hall effect. Last time I looked, they were $30 and the people who have switched to them swear by them.

I guess I should maybe look into them, since one of my sticks has drifted a bit, to the point I had to recalibrate once.

That’s not really that expensive, to be honest. You are shipping it across the world to have it professionally repaired.

But honestly, while it’s scary to take your Deck apart, they made it pretty cheap to repair if you want to do it yourself. The button in question is less than US$10 for a pair, so you can replace both while you’re in there. And while you’re at it, you might as well upgrade the joysticks to those fancy ones the enthusiasts are always going on about.

Piracy isn’t an issue at all, because I don’t recognize or consider either of those concepts.
