Valve isn’t perfect though. Especially when it comes to owning games. I couldn’t use Asprite on my laptop on my schools wifi because it couldn’t verify that I own a 1gb program to draw pixels. Disabling wifi didn’t help either. Still made up it’s mind on not letting me make sprites for my school assignment till I connected it to my home wifi.
The best part? There’s literally a free version that’s not on steam that I purposely didn’t download because I wanted to support the dev!
Ok. Pretend you are my father. I am your son. You are teaching me how to work the Nostalgia factory, and you have already taught me about the production maintenance and cost of the job. Now the next item on the checklist is what to do in case of emergency and specifically how to stop the production of cargo.
when was the last time you used it on Android, and was it on a modern device? about half of those don’t really apply/happen to me
1: yeah search sucks sometimes, wish they’d fix it.
2: you can block people, you just have to select the lower … icon
3: it says ‘primary mail’ for me, but it is kinda annoying sometimes
4: are you talking about how it shortens ‘[email protected]’ to just ‘Steam’? because on a phone there isn’t much horizontal room and they have a verified system for businesses but I can kinda see what you mean
5: It marked read nearly instantly for me. If it can load the text then it’ll mark as read which only takes like half a second for me.
kenshi is also an awesome game on an old engine. Very excited for the sequel using unreal engine that’s coming out in probably 10 years because the indie devs want to release a finished product
They should be forced to make buyers own it instead of another popup nobody reads.
It COULD become a good change if games get backlash for having the popup but when 90% of games have it nobody will care.
This just gives the “well you didn’t read the TOS so it’s actually your fault” idiots more talking points.
Could go either way but I assume it wont change much.
I disagree. I like GOOD games. It just so happens that 90% of the good games are singleplayer. Deep Rock Galactic and Minecraft are pretty much the only 2 multiplayer games I think are better with other people (strangers, not like playing with family).
Also I MUST bring this up every chance I get. Lemmy.world has a Minecraft server that isn’t pay to win and I need people to play with. Am lonely, please join. :)
Its literally the prisoners dilemma but they’re too greedy to look at it factually 😭

also bedrock ray tracing isn’t even made for actual play, it’s only made for a few specially designed maps. people found how to move a folder from the map worlds file into a location in a normal world folder to make the world have RTX.
(most of) the shaders on Iris are MADE to play with so you won’t encounter as many issues.
the collapsible things on the left is a rainbow! that’s neat, https://steamcommunity.com/id/TriflingToad/
they man that’s pretty selfish to ask for an invite like that… https://steamcommunity.com/id/TriflingToad/
