“You exist because we allow it, and you will end because we demand it.”

Oh that’s really exciting. My son and I both like this game but haven’t gotten past the end of the tutorial.

Valid point. I forgot about GTA since that was one of the few banned games in my household.

Assassin’s Creed and the Open World Gameplay design. It definitely existed before then, but after AC came out, it felt like every RPG switched to the open world map.

Oh I’m just hoping for more concept art. That sort of thing. We got some a few years back but that’s kind of been it.

That’s okay. I just want to see proof they’ve done something with it.

I’ve never been the biggest Dragon Age fan, but this is a post BG3 world now.

I wonder if we will actually get some information about the next Mass Effect on N7 day this year.

Mass Effect 2 and 3 might have what you’re looking for.

Baldur’s Gate 3 as well.

Just the fact that the ship combat is awful AND you don’t get to fly your ship TO other planets makes this a pass for me.

Very very slowly playing through Sea of Stars still. I’ve just gotten to the second island and the combat has hit a decent difficulty spike, which is fun.

Also been trying (and mostly failing) to play Mass Effect Legendary. Been about 7 years since I beat them last, and I love the trilogy and really want to revisit it. The music in Mass effect 1 is just so good.

Honestly I let my Gamepass lapse and was considering re-upping it to play Starfield. And now I am for sure not going to re-up it for Starfield. Maybe I’ll visit it in a few years, but it sounds like not a great time from Nakey Jakey’s review on it.

Oooh when I pick it up again I’ll have to try it. Did you go hudless from the start or after playing for a while?

Oh yeah. Leitmotifs are very effective at tying a story together and really help add some punch to those emotional moments.

I absolutely adore Mass Effect. It’s probably my favorite game ever. Top 3 at least.

I’ll go with Mass Effect, the music in the first 3 games is incredible. Especially in the first game I think. This particular piece is called Vigil.

Here’s the not hour long version haha.

Pokémon Colosseum, Super Mario Sunshine, Ratchet and Clank, Mass Effect

It’s been a long time, but I remember liking Jaal, Vetra, Drack, and Peebee a lot. I also remember Peebee being controversial in terms of you love her or hate her.

From the article:

As part of its recently publicised cutbacks, BioWare has “let go of” Lukas Kristjanson, the lead writer behind Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2, and the writer of the first three Dragon Age games, Mary Kirby.

As someone who does actually play it - it’s only microtransaction focused if you get FOMO and like to collect all playable characters.

Usually you can guarantee a new high rarity unit once every two months or so of playing, but the real endgame is just exploring and there is no need to pay anything ever.
