Chelsea are offering big contracts for the amortization benefits it brings to expensive transfers. They won’t do that for a relatively cheaper transfer

Stunned that Liverpool had this kind of cash in the first place. Also how have they made a bid without even sounding out the player first¿?

Yeah I know. I was just replying to your comment about paying for each update.

Well games receive patch fixes and even content updates after release and most of them are pushed through to the people who purchased the game at no extra costs. Yes dlc’s do require you to purchase them but updates that fix bugs and improve performance resulting in an improved experience are usually free of cost

Well it is cheap for people living in developed countries but in developing countries where the exchange rate vs the dollar is high and the average income is lower, the cost of the subscription is substantial. Yes we should support the developer but unfortunately this subscription model is unfeasible for some people.

I can volunteer. Though I have never been a mod so don’t know what it entails

This to me seems like an issue of educating the people better. Having everything on lemmy.world seems detrimental in the long run, especially for lemmy.world

Staying on lemmy.world seems like a good idea imo as new arrivals will gravitate towards that

This is not necessary. As long as the instances are federated, a football community on any instance can communicate with users from other instances and thrive. Also assuming that the subscribers here are from a diverse group of major instances, by searching and joining any new community that props up(if at all that action is needed) we will add the community to the search list

It won’t. Saudi has given them a perfect get out jail card for underperforming players on long contracts

Skills wise he very good. Probably the best defender Bayern had. Unfortunately he is very injury prone and missed like 40-50% of the games for us

Has it been confirmed¿? Aren’t we waiting for Kim’s amry service obligations to end before ironing out the details

The fact that he is still under bayern’s payroll means that he can very picky about his next club while still making money in the interim. If the contract/team building assurances are not to his liking, he can reject the approach without fear of loss of money

Interesting that the three teams(germany, spain and netherlands) that were powerhouses during the period between 2008 and 2016 are struggling now

Yes if we join it should be this one. No use making other communities. I have a link to this on the subreddit as well asking people to migrate here

No real are community owned. They don’t have one owner.

Along with Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna, Real Madrid is organised as a registered association. This means that the club is owned by its supporters who elect the president.
