Ooooo I just started Ship of Harkinian! I’m about ten hours in.

The place I work for is having an executive pay cut… but with tons of threats of other layoffs and chafing benefits for the worse. It’s really cool. I bet the top execs have pay cuts equal or less than one regular worker’s pay.

I did the exact same thing and I’m so excited for full release!

Hahaha that’s totally fair. I’m just peeved that people don’t rate games as a 5/5 = okay game rating. When I see a 7/10 as mediocre, I get a solid flare up of my autism

I am biased because RO changed my life. I played on a 2x/2x server with like 3k people and it was incredible. I met so many awesome people to braindead farm with and WoE was so fun, I didn’t have a lot of close friends in real life but I had some incredible people in RO. Also as a young bi furry bitch Moonie gave me very confusing feelings. I might not be here today if not for RO, so I have some opinions on RO hahaha

Quick edit: I played from when it came out here until when it became F2P and I disagreed with that choice. I hate MTX shit.

Oh my GAWD 7/10 is NOT mid. I just ranted on another comment about this. 7/10 is a GREAT score. Everyone: please make 5/10 your mid-game point I am so tired of this aaaaaaa

7/10 to me is a good game. I hate how people rate games. I’ve always hated it. A 6/10 game is enjoyable. A 5/10 game is absolutely mid. A 4/10 game is okay. 3/10 has huge flaws but is worth playing if you’re into that.

Subnautica is an 8/10 game for me. I thought it was amazing. I loved it. Below Zero was a 6/10 game. I thought it was good. I enjoyed it, and I would not call it “absolute mid.”

I’m a die hard Diablo 1-2 fan (thousands of hours in D2) and I liked D3 well enough but maybe put in 250 hours… skipped D4 entirely and I have zero regrets hahaha

hbomberguy did a 50+ hour 101% nightmare stream for trans charity a while back and I watched the whole thing. I would not subject myself to playing that game but damn it was interesting to see.

I loved it but I was sad I completed it before the rental period was up.

I started on the first PSP game and it was heavily more obtuse, with almost zero direction, tutorial, hints, anything hahaha. It got a LITTLE better with later “old style” games but it was still pretty obtuse. World NEEDED a tutorial that explained every little detail and held yer hand, otherwise new players would be hella turned off by the game and it wouldn’t have blown up like it did.

I’m going to guess with near certainty that Monster Hunter World was your first Monster Hunter game if you think THAT tutorial was the worst hahaha

Ah yes, classic Steam, paying devs big money to make their new release exclusive to Steam and unable to be purchased on any other lau—oh wait, that was another company?!

Well, at least now you have the capitalist monopoly here to save you! All hail!

I got it for cheap layer (I almost never buy new games) and found it kinda shallow and boring. I wanted to like it, I love the theme and settings but ehhhhhhhhh

It was hyped up to be Space Fallout and I did not get Space Fallout out of it. Even like… Space Bad Fallout. I just got mediocre space game.

Two years after The Outer Worlds: “oh mods will make it better, I got it for free”

They didn’t.

I respect the same for the second game. But also free. And wasting SSD space.

I was gonna play some Minecraft this weekend, it’s been YEARS! I went to log into my Mojang account, and oops, Microsoft bought Minecraft forever ago.

I go to their web site to see how to download Java edition.

“Log in with your Microsoft account!”

I don’t have, and am not going to make one of those.

“Click here to see how to log in with your Mojang account!”

you can’t, you have to re-buy the game again scrub

Alpha player BTW

Ugh I just wish it was designed for two players, so I can just play with my partner.

Brutalmoose (moose2 on YouTube) is the comfiest channel I’ve ever watched and the community he’s cultivated is excellent and full of nice people. He plays a lot of retro and fairly unknown games. He set up a bingo system where he draws a number, plays a game (starting with Windows 98) for 15 minutes, then everyone watching decides whether to play another 15 minutes or pass and draw another number+game. “Bingo98” was the first. It’s excellent and very funny.

Life is Strange 1 was good, a bit silly at points but I enjoyed the cringe.

The other games were kinda bad.

Bloom and Rage is HILARIOUSLY bad. In every way. It’s amazing.

Oh no, I meant Lost Records hahaha. It’s completely horrible in every aspect, to the point of being hilarious. The reviews it’s getting baffle me. It’s easily the worst of them all.

I enjoyed the first one very much.

The latest one is one of the worst, most awkward, uninspired, terribly written, bullshit games I’ve ever seen, though. It’s absolutely hilarious.

Yus! I also spelled his name wrong, it’s ManyKudos. Anyway, he was VERY passionate about RDR2 online, but all of their decisions were extremely lazy and cash-grabby. Now they’re on an indefinite hiatus from any meaningful (or any at all) updates, just years of shitting on the playerbase.

I won’t lie, I have a mega beefy computer and TotK caps out at 60fps so if you can hit close to that on a switch, that’s dope! Since BotW is on WiiU, that’s much easier to emulate!

Oh heck yeah. We only binge watch shows a couple times a year when we get all messed up on MDMA hahaha

I started Ragnarok Online in 2003 and it is my favorite game of all time. Easily the best sandbox RPG I’ve ever played. I don’t think I’d actually still be here typing this if I never got into it. I met some incredible people. Thank you for mentioning it. I’ve been meaning to try Origins but I haven’t got around to it. I was very sad when they went F2P and added stupid F2P mechanics.

I wish I still had my old account, with my ice pick and my angeling robe on my GC Crusader!

I’m so happy to hear that you, not having nostalgia for it, enjoy it now! Sending love from a very RO oldhead.

Quick edit: to anyone else reading this, RO is a choose your own adventure hat-wearing chatroom and it’s CHARMING. also the soundtrack by SoundTEMP is fucking stellar. “Desert” and “Purity of your Smile” are so good.

Also my unknown-at-the-time queer ass really wanted to hold Moonlight Flower’s hand.

I will scream from the mountaintops that The Hex is his best game. I loved Inscryption so much and thought there was no idea I’d like any of his older games better. Inscryption has better replayability for sure, but I think overall The Hex is a better game. I love it sooooo much and people just get turned off by the graphics, because they don’t understand that there’s a reason they look like that in the previews… and why they can’t show other things.

Anyone reading this, please go play The Hex.

Hahaha magnificent. My partner is Phoenix, and I’m Edgeworth. I like to think my Edgeworth is pretty perfect. We’ll be switching for the second game, then switching back for the third. Assuming both characters still exist by then.

That’s better FPS than the 15-30(max) it gets on the switch.

I borrowed BotW when it came out for a day and gave it back, then emulated it on my computer at 120FPS… I refused to pay for something that performs so poorly if I have a better option hahaha
