Heyo yee, I got my 1080 when Destiny 2 came out with a free game deal and kept the card for soooooo long (although fuck you, piece of shit Destiny 2 garbage game that made all of the worst or most predatory decisions ever and I hate you)

AAAAANYWAY the 1080 for so much longer than my previous cards have. Now I’m on a 3070ti and have no urge to upgrade.

In an old version of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” for the computer, if you take too long before starting a game, Regis gets pissed at you and starts yelling at you. If you take a bit longer. He closes the game.

My hats and a weird patch got me a ton of free games and an Index so I have to agree with you. I have a dope ass piece of sick VR shit that I got for zero moneys.

I had too many unopened loot crates #1-20 and one day there was a weird patch and I sold them all to get a free Valve Index in 2020

Anything by Chilla’s Art. The Coffee Shop, Parasocial, The Bathhouse, Shinkansen 0, The Radio Station.

Also The Hex if you want a spooky mood but no jumpscares. Go in blind, it’s by Daniel Mullins who did Inscryption. It’s an incredible game. Ignore the screenshots on Steam and don’t watch the trailer, it’s five USD and the graphics make sense after playing for 30m.

If you want jump scares, At Dead of Night. My partner and I are horror aficionados and we cannot play that game.

Fuckin right?

ALSO can Mojang get my goshfuckin ALPHA account back that Microsoft deleted because I wasn’t paying attention to their bullshit during COVID and now it’s gone forever even if I make a Microsoft account which I will never do and now I have to pay money to Microsoft (which I will also never do and have never done)?

I’m pretty sure it was promised to me that I’d have Minecraft access forever because I bought an alpha account, but I guess now I have to give point to a horrible soulless corp to buy it again.

Yeah, the one that’s you beat and it’s like “NOPE SECOND HEALTHBAR”, then you beat it again and it’s like “UMMM TIME DOR ANOTHER HEALTH BAR”

I’m fairly early into the expansion, I’ve only beaten two legacy dungeons. I figured I’d just come back once I learned he’s options.

Fuck yeah! I don’t think I ever will. I’m down hundreds hours in of just fucking around and exploring and I keep hitting walls in the expansion. There’s a crazy tree bitch I can’t kill at the bottom of somewhere even with expert help. Aaaaaaaaa

Good riddance to any gar journalists who rate games on a 6/10 to 10/10 scale. I insinuated because sponsors, but fuck that.

I love that you dig it but don’t even call it by the right name, Balan Wonderworld, because it was named so poorly hahahaha

It just… feels better with KBM. and I’m sad about that. I wanna sit back, but it just feels crunchier with a controller.

I also feel Stardew works insanely better on KBM. Terraria too. I WANT to use controller and sit back and be comfy, but I just feel like I’m fiddling more and not as relaxed as point and click.

I REALLY love Enshrouded. It’s right under Valheim for me in games of its type.

64 is one of my favorite games of all time, BTN is objectively better though (with horrible loading times tho)

I love them both but BTN is just… more better, although Karen was MUCH better as a mean bitch in 64. She was so much cooler.

At one point I picked up six copies of Fallout: New Vegas at like three or four USD each. I kept the extras in my Steam inventory to trade or gift later. I traded some for TF2 items and gifted two or three to friends when Christmas hit.

Now no more 90% off of good games (okay rarely) and absolutely no keeping games in your inventory. It’s so different now.

Pony island is the weakest of his games for me, but it’s still great, like you said! I’m SO PSYCHED for Pony Island 2!

The Hex is such a great and innovative game.

I love Inscryption very much but my favorite game the creator of Inscryption did is his previous game, “The Hex”. I recommend anyone reading this go in blind, don’t trust the screenshots you see on Steam, everything makes sense after less than an hour of playing and it gets so much more nuts and creative from there.

I struggled for a while but eventually I unlocked all the mirror stuff and got it dialed in so I could get specific duos to become godly OP every run I did. It took a lot of memorization of what boons were needed to get those duos, and when to reroll though!

It’s also funny cuz the Vita is a fairly powerful handheld that ran games much more demanding than BL2 at much higher framerates. No excuse for that.

Riven is easily the best, agreed. The forest shit was insane in Exile. The up-down elevator in the toilet world was also awful.

Myst 3 was okay. Balls Age was easily the best. The other two were kinda jank. The ending was INCREDIBLE.

Tap for spoiler

Saavedro’s “NOOO NO NO NO NO NOOO” wails of despair are amazingly acted yet they make me crack up every time I watch them. I will never tire of watching him scream.

Aha! My field of expertise! Here’s some people don’t talk about often, most of which cost very little and offer very much.

Chilla’s Art games. Start with Closing Shift, The Bathhouse, and Shinkansen 0. Shinkansen 0 is an excellent game but less spooky than the others. The Radio Station is also pretty good, but the driving got arduous to me.

Devotion you can get from Red Candle Games’ website, DRM free. Doable in a day, excellent experience.

Penumbra games predate Amnesia, they’re quite spooky!

The Exit 8. Similar to Shinkansen 0, would absolutely recommend.

Missing Hiker. Very atmosphere.

I swear nobody has played The Hex and it’s my favorite of his. I went in completely blind, having seen maybe two screenshots of the beginning, and the weird graphics made sense almost immediately. I have recommended it to so many people and only one friend has played it. Aaaaaaaaaa

I’ll have to explore much more! I’m so curious as to how much more I haven’t explored, but I haven’t looked anything up—I played through the original game blind and I want to do the same with the expansion. But it’s soooo difficult!

Oh I might be thinking of Siofra! Sorry hahaha, it’s been a while.

I went back into the expansion after months of not playing, and I forgot how much I loved this game… but sheeiit, is the expansion brutal. The main game was hard, but I had a much easier time roaming around and having fun and exploring without dying. Shadow seems a lot more…. “Go here and do the thing to progress”.

Did you go into a regular, boring, nondescript building and then take the longest elevator ever? Because I did the and it brought tears to my eyes when I finally got down there (also first real souls game, I only played a bit of Demon’s Souls PS3 before Elden Ring)

Edit: also this tree is far beyond any boss in the main game, and insane compared to the other expansion bosses. I don’t even think I need to kill it to progress.

Oh man… i don’t wanna spoil anything, but uhhhh I think I have to come back to it with full blessing. I can’t get close even with a buddy who’s extremely good.

I think it’s Shadow Keep! I’ve found two of the bosses—one insane tree guy with three phases that has killed me 20 times so I went another way, one big fat boss guy, and there has to be more cuz I’m not done yet…

I had to skip that knight! I got deaded too many times and just left hahaha. I’m in my third legacy dungeon in Shadow and it’s pretty brutal.

My partner and I both played A Short Hike at the same time, on separate computers, finished it in an afternoon/evening.

PLAY IT IT IS SO GOOD AND CUTE AND FUN

I went from a Shadow to a Dream! I loved my shadow other than it having fucking horrible support for connecting to a computer. The software for transferring files was complete and total garbage.

The keyboard was great, though!
