You could get monthly subscriptions for services like Geforce Now or Xbox Cloud Gaming. With a decent internet connection and a controller, pretty much any device that can display video becomes a gaming device. Obviously this may work out to be more expensive in the long run and these services have some weird terms of service so a decent research before subscribing is required but if you need to game for a month with minimal upfront investment they are pretty good.


From what I hear in gaming podcasts guides are still a big traffic driver for websites. Also that there are literally no more jobs. Love to see employee owned businesses, I hope it works out for these guys.



It has hall effect sticks and triggers which is very cool but $300 is a big chunk of money.


In a couple of generations when path tracing with reasonable levels of performance is available on mid-range cards (eg. equivalent of 4070) I might consider Nvidia. Until then team red for me

It’s called the network effect. The rest of the world (except China) uses WhatsApp so if you want to communicate with them you use whatever they use.
