There’s a really well done VR mod for this game. It’s actually the only way I’ve played it so far. If you can run Steam VR I highly recommend it! I had to do a reinstall of some stuff so haven’t finished the game yet, but it’s been high on my ‘to-do list’.
Is this what you’ve been waiting for? Say “one, two…and four!”
I’ll be a minority voice considering the other comments. But maybe just pay for onlyfans or whatever you guys use. I’m a generally attractive woman (I can surmise from interactions while trying to date) and I really don’t like the idea that my likeness would be used for something like this. Get your jollies off, but try and be a bit consensual about it. Is that so much to ask?
Shout out to Aleph One which has the trilogy for all platforms, open source. You can also snag it on iOS for free
Edit; oh, looks like it’s Aleph One that’s publishing it on steam. Wonder if it’ll be free there as well.
I’m really interested!!! Unfortunately I keep getting an ‘invalid credentials’ notification after clicking the link to verify. I’ve tried to reset the password but still can’t get in. I’m happy to send a donation, but want to make sure it’s linked to an account.
Do you have a character limit? I also can’t show the password while trying to log in to verify it was inserted correctly. I’ve tried both with and without special characters and am using iOS ‘suggest a password’ feature if that helps at all.
I’ll be trying again in the morning to see if goes through as I can totally understand there being a delay in verification.
Honestly disappointed with the combination of batch awards and probably the shortest acceptance speech timer I’ve seen. This game awards felt solely for producers and publishers, not for the people who actually made these games. I get not wanting another 8 min speech, but it left a bad taste in my mouth
Gonna give it a try tonight with some of the demos. Should figured it was better haha
Edit; gave it a try, can’t speak towards performance but the interface alone is a huge plus. Loading into the actual steam environment feels faster. Since it runs as a native oculus app you don’t get that awful ring around your waist when fiddling with Oculus settings.
There have always been ways to link up your Quest headset and Steam library, but these have rarely been wireless, or as simple as downloading an app and entering a pairing code. Now, the VR marketplace has opened up entirely, and it’s all thanks to the Steam Link app.
What are they talking about? I’ve been using airlink only for the last 2 years. And it is as simple as downloading the Oculus app and confirm a pairing code.
Meta exclusives can Fuck all the way off though, I only buy my VR games on Steam. Meta has demonstrated they can and will remove titles you paid for and installed.
Yeah, I had the same issue back in the day. I was playing on mobile though (by far my least favorite way) so I think I’ll give it another go. ‘And We Got Older’ has been in my library since I first played, so at least the OST is banger
I’m probably just going to watch Byf/Myelin videos for the conclusion of the light and dark saga. I’ve been with Destiny since Beta, and got really invested in the lore. I’d stop playing for a few months and jump back in for the story beats/gunplay. Now all that wind has left my sails, and I still can’t believe they let go Michael fucking Salvatori

Honestly this launcher has been a pain point for me from launch. All of these oversized windows for ease of use with a controller are too busy imho, and even before MWIII it was about 50/50 if there was a server side patch that required a restart.
I have SSDs and M2 etc, I shouldn’t have to wait 5-10 minutes to launch the dang thing
From what I understand, Ubisoft received a grant from the Singapore government that basically mandates this game be published, as opposed to the recent Hyenas cancelation.
Relevant quote;
The company, in exchange for generous subsidies, is required to hit a certain hiring quota and launch original IPs in the next few years, making it imperative that the title gets shipped by hook or by crook – final look notwithstanding.
I actually jumped into the Imperium server recently and finally duo boxed. The real probably is that the down time that could be filled getting to know other players in your level range is slim.
I admit I’ve been having a lot of fun with New World following the first expansion. The artifact gear you can grind usually has a 6 minute timer (some are dungeon locked, and one spawn every 90 minutes according to server day/night schedule) and it’s made me nostalgic. The mob has nothing to do but chat, and it’s been really enjoyable so far.
That’s my ramble done, but anything EQ related gets me nostalgic.
Just last month I heard of United’s own supersonic plan ‘Boom’. Concerning name aside I am interested to read more about the tech behind it.
The Gaming Porting Toolkit has worked fairly well for me with Diablo 4, so I imagine more PC-only games will be available as well as it exits beta. In the meantime Baldur’s Gate 3 (early access) and No Man’s Sky have native Mac support and I love how much time you can spend with them. I admittedly mainly play PC with those.
I also played the Middle-earth games on Mac if you’re looking for a more linear style of narrative.
Hard agree. I had taken a break for a few years and popped back in when D4 hype was at its highest. I really appreciate how much tinkering with the internal systems the seasons model allowed for. It also helps that D2 got some nice graphic upgrades with Resurrected, so it doesn’t sting how different D3 is IMO.
