the article lists a source. Game Watch. Translated from Japanese to English.
“Cumulative domestic sales of Nintendo’s game console “Nintendo Switch” series exceeded 33.34 million units. It exceeded the record for the Nintendo DS series of 32.99 million units, making it the best-selling game console in history in Japan.”
This is much easier if you read the article and check the sources yourself.
in my experience, you can get pretty smooth gameplay at the cost of graphics, or pretty decent graphics at the cost of smoothness and fps.
I have mine set to pretty ok-ish settings for both. but then I tend to swap between handheld and docked for most games. so I’m kinda used to the graphics by now.
hope you find a setup you like <3
it’s been taken down, but I’ve just been giving out the file to anyone who wants it. it’s only 24mb so I suggest spreading it as far and wide as possible.
it’s really a hell of a lot of fun to play. and there are more improvements than just the widescreen world view.
edit: I have just been sending it to people on discord. I could pop it on google drive and DM it to any who ask if you’d like.
I’ve played a couple of different versions, but honestly the original snes on an emulator is the version I always reach for now.
I feel like other versions have different set ups or change the way the game looks or feels. but the snes version is consistent and reliable.
Don’t be like me and buy it on every conceivable platform. lol XD only to find that the snes emulator is the best.
this I can’t understand. at all. if everyone is in camp, why can I not browse everyone’s inventory? it makes no sense.
how many times have I got an item that’s awesome for a character that’s not in my party, but I have no inventory so I have someone else pick it up.
unless you’re diligent and sending every single thing to camp, it’s a pain in the ass to swap gear around. I still use the goody-bag method for gear drops. but it’s not perfect and it can fail if you don’t do management every time you play.
I feel like I was so hyped for the Starfield release, but playing it wasn’t as exciting as I thought.
BG3 released and I wasn’t expecting it. But I’ve had such a blast with it that I can’t stop playing.
I want to come back to Starfield later when they have had time to get mod support goin and whatnot. but for now, I have other titles to play to keep me happy.
oh I know. I just don’t want nintendo to get their paws on it again.
chrono trigger was a game developed by a fantastic supergroup of talented individuals. it’s still my favorite rpg all these years later because of that effort and skill.
just… please don’t put it on switch. please.
