I can’t imagine new players playing the game. I tried getting back in after missing most of the events since the 2nd dlc came out. So much of the story is gone now because they were only part of the event and inaccessible now. Doesn’t even feel like the same game when I went back to it. Tried watching a 2 hour lore video for all the things that happene but that didn’t help.

Holy crap I was trying to figure out why Sam Cole’s VA sounded so familiar. Thanks for helping me finally figure out why lol

You might enjoy Alan Wake 1 but the controls aren’t for everyone. I absolutely loved it all the times I played but my friend couldn’t stand the combat.

The story is very mysterious and I can’t recall any gore at all in the game. The only kind of jump scares I can recall were from the combat when I didn’t notice an enemy snuck up on me. It’s something more easily manageable if you play on the easier difficulty as there is less of a threat.

The plot is really fucking great and has some of my favorite narration in a game. And it has a type of Eldritch horror story to it. You’ve probably already experienced it in that Alan Wake dlc for Control. You don’t have to deal with it in Alan Wake like you did in Control.

October 3rd for anyone wondering.

I am really really hopeful for this game to be serviceable.

This was one of the first manga’s I ever read. I remember getting the first shonen jump they released in America, which had this, around then and getting addicted from then on lol.

Does this affect the channels you subscribe too through Amazon prime as well? Fucking hope not lol

Same here. This news has me fucking excited to play it.

Tried it on gamepass in the past but couldn’t stand the multiplayer component so I stopped playing.

Glad the comment chain made you want to try it!

I have a feeling Sekiro fans will find more enjoyment in it than I did.

Hopefully you can find the demo if it’s still available somewhere.

Yeah lol. I think Trevor will sucker punch you if you run into him.

Yeah it was the moment when I realized Lies of P reminded me of playing Sekiro when I stopped lol. I’m just disappointed they make you have to parry. Not parrying lead to me getting combo locked during that first carnival boss so many times. Getting hit multiple times without being able to dodge or parry after the first hit was annoying.

Heard that the game has a dodge/roll upgrade a bit farther into it but I just didn’t have it in me to deal with more of the parrying to get that far.

Grateful the game was on gamepass so I was able to check it out before buying it. Hopefully my friend that’s 100% Sekiro will give it a try soon. He might enjoy the combat more than I did. He never dodged in bloodborne but instead stood still and just parry’d the bosses until it worked lol.

I tried the game for a few hours but I just couldn’t get into it.

Something about the dodge mechanic was not feeling right and I hated the overreliance on blocking/parrying. It’s the one mechanic I’ve hated in all soulsborne games and never used when beating the games.

Also noticed how some enemies seem to have their attacks rubberbanded onto you even when you dodge.

Realizing I would have to rely on the parrying for the whole games was what made me finally stop playing today. I just don’t find that fun or enjoyable.

I’m hopeful that they can rework the dodge more, but that was also my hope from playing the demo too and I still don’t like it as it is now in the full game.

Ohhhh lol I got the names confused.

I’ll have to try that in a playthrough one day to see how it goes.

Aw you missed out on some fun parts of the game. If you were just playing for Arthur’s story then I can understand why you’d stop there though. I’ll spoiler tag the stuff below but it’s why I think the epilogue is worth it if you wanted closure on something dealing with Arthur.

!Micah is a totally bitch. Epilogue dealt with John dealing with him and that shit was great !<

Won’t say more about it than that.

I think you just helped me solve why I never finished it when I was 8 lol.

I was at the ending but was never able to finish it before the countdown ended. Now I need to install the game again!

Lmfao holy crap I thought my friend was joking about this.

I at least now understand why this meme was made.

You’ll lose access to the game but you’ll still own the DLC/expansion. If you resub on gamepass then you’ll have access to the game and the DLC you owned again.

Ratchet & Clank Going Commando. I’ve spent countless hours in that game over the last 20 years. I still keep a PS3 in my room to have the HD trilogy available whenever I want to play. Really wish it would be remastered to run on the current systems.

That was one of my first Xbox 360 games as a kid. Good memories of playing it online and loving how the movement and abilities are.

Really wish it could of had a single player component lol.

I’m hoping for DJ hero lol

I still want the DLC

Yeah that’s what I meant! Thanks for explaining to them :)

Hopefully that all gets figured out for those in the UK. It would really suck for those there being locked out of new games.

"In a ruling submitted today, Judge Corley said the following: Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision has been described as the largest in tech history. It deserves scrutiny. That scrutiny has paid off: Microsoft has committed in writing, in public, and in court to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation for 10 years on parity with Xbox. It made an agreement with Nintendo to bring Call of Duty to Switch. And it entered several agreements to for the first time bring Activision’s content to several cloud gaming services. This Court’s responsibility in this case is narrow. It is to decide if, notwithstanding these current circumstances, the merger should be halted—perhaps even terminated—pending resolution of the FTC administrative action. For the reasons explained, the Court finds the FTC has not shown a likelihood it will prevail on its claim this particular vertical merger in this specific industry may substantially lessen competition. To the contrary, the record evidence points to more consumer access to Call of Duty and other Activision content. The motion for a preliminary injunction is therefore DENIED. "
