Burnout Revenge was an amazing party game back in the day. Simple enough that anyone could immediately start playing without being terrible at it, and chaotic enough to keep everyone hooked.
I only completed 2 games this year. Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok. Played a bunch of others but they were either endless or I lost interest right near the end.
Currently not-quite finished list: Zelda ToTK, Satisfactory, BG3
Endless games: Animal crossing, Cities Skylines, Stardew Valley
I thought the PS3 wasn’t backwards compatible due to the weird new cell processor working differently? I remember it being a big controversy at the time.
I only save scummed the Gwent tournament as it’s a one-shot type deal. The rest of the game there was no need as it autosaves frequently and there is basically no consequences to losing a game of Gwent to a rando
I always get to the part with nuclear power, then I take a look at the space elevator objective recipes, realise I need to multiply my factory size by about 20 and just nope out
Same with me and Black & White 1. I loved the hell out of that game and didn’t know about his reputation. There’s still a massive shortage of god games out there over 20 years later.
