I liked that game. Then they decided to completely rework it. IMO for the worse. It went downhill from there.

There hasnt been yet a game that could replicate the experience I ld had when I played Planescape: Torment

So much nostalgia. I still remember my roleplaying character- An imperial arena fighter dude wearing nothing but pants, fistfighting everyone from mudcrabs to minotaurs, then it was Altmer mage with Atronach sign, who was forced to delve into Ayleid ruins to loot mana crystals to cast spells… so much fun.

I might try the remaster once Im done with Veilguard

I have Win11 at work and its frustrating as hell. Definitely switching over to linux when I decide to buy a new pc

Their last two games were made as primarily coop games, this one seems to follow the trend.

This looks awesome. My wife and I enjoyed the hell out of It Takes Two.

I know this was mostly a joke comment, but Id like to add that the second main culprit were rapid enviromental changes after the last ice age. It cant be all pinned on humans.

From what I’ve heard, the ages are going to be much longer and more game-changing that Civ 6 eras. Like age of exploration unlocking new parts of the world and new era appropriate civs to play with.

Doesnt matter, there will always be HoMaM III to play.

Every Crusader Kings 2 player Shahanshah knows that marrying your sister is a crucial step on the path of reunification of Persia.

The opinions are all over the place right now. As someone who loved DA2, I have no problem with actiony combat and linear world, as long as the storytelling and companions stay the same quality.

Seems like Vailguard is going to be more like DA2 than Inquisition.

I am okay with this.

As long as my MC can be as sassy as purple!Hawke.

The last time the tactical view was relevant was in Origins. Inquisition combat was a joke, and I say this as a fan of the game. The tactical view was useless ninety percent of the time with team members ignoring your commands more often than not. The actual combat itself was a mess too, to the point it was better to stay back and lob spells or arrow rather then risk missing all your attacks because your enemy is slightly higher up a hill. At least this looks more dynamic and skill based with all the projectile & AoE telegraphing.

Damn, rebooted Heretic or Hexen would be cool as hell.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind if the actual game artstyle was like this. Dragon age franchise hasn’t been dark fantasy since DA2, and inquisition hasnt been pretty schizophrenic when it comes to the tone. Might as well go with it and embrace the camp.

I still cant get over the fact the game I played when I was a teen 15 years ago is such a huge hit among kids now.

Looks like budget Witcher 2 game. Huge amount of jank too.
