Is the reason other manufacturers aren’t using silicon carbide because they don’t have easy access / manufacturing lines to the tech, it’s too expensive, or it’s not proven in terms of reliability? I mean I can excuse Samsung because of the note 7 issue but I haven’t exactly heard anything bad coming from this tech yet.
Joycon doesn’t have magnets the switch itself does. Although when docked with the switch it probably would interfere. I have to imagine there’s a way to program against that if there’s a consistent magnetic source.
Was legit surprised to see my local microcenter sold out when I checked today. Pretty sure they had multiple hundreds in stock and now there’s only 1 left today.
This is my first time playing poe/poe2 and I’m only in act 1 still (I think just made it to the manor base area). So far I’m having a great time with the game and can see how it’s addictive for so many people.
Oh the 16gigs is for devs/games and the 2gb is exclusively for the system. Was wondering how they were able to get by with only 2 gigs of ram and 16gigs of vram originally lmao.
I want to start using eSIM but I keep hearing about issues with tethering and the phone reporting normal data usage as tethered so I’ve always avoided it due to that. My fear is at some point carriers charging a fee to switch the eSIM from one phone to another.
I went into this game in VR not knowing it was soft horror and had to stop a little after the tposing dude showing up on the scanner. Watched a speed run after because I needed closure lol.
At first I thought this was old news due to the PS3 LBP security issues but now I’m seeing it’s affecting the PS4 as well. This sucks so much and it’s even more a shame that Sony will use sackboy as a mascot and you can’t even play the games sackboy came from to their fullest anymore.
I wonder if there could be a feedback loop on something like it too where if you see your character walking then they’ll continually walk because you’re actively seeing/imagining it?

Hate to see that. Recently played through time splitters future perfect with my friend and had a great time on the Xbox backwards compatibility. Hopefully the time splitters rewind project makes good progress and releases at some point.

Honestly I like the look of the consoles however the pricing is incredibly stupid imo. 450 for diskless is pointless when the disked model is 500. 50$ doesn’t seem like much of an incentive to save by going diskless. The better option would’ve been to charge 400 for diskless and then 100 for the drive rather than 80.
That’s interesting I’d wonder if totk or botw would run better without the paid switch 2 update then.
