I gave up game pass, i looked into paying more to be able to stream games from it… but i decided it just was not worth it… at some point the great deal is going to become shitty…

I don’t regret dropping it and have just used steam…

I also didn’t play games that had kernel level anti cheat… just never seemed worth it

Yeah xfce is what i switched to, which was easier than i expected it to be.

No it was crashing to the login screen… randomly and frequently while playing games … I was trying to update stuff and make tweaks i messed something up and the system didn’t even recognize it had an operating system…

I looked it up… it was the grub menu that i was finally able to get to load which helped me put things back to normal…

It helped taking out my old 2 sticks of 8gb ram in my configuration with my teo 16 gb sticks which worked fine when i was using windows… none of the issues happened on windows so i was really trying to figure it out… i mean i did figure it out… but yeah…

It really did not help that i was running at 120 on an ultra wide at 5120 x 1440 or whatever the resolution is… i also tried to run it at 240 but that was a horrible idea and the start of my issues…

But yeah, its been a while so…

I don’t remember what i did… but i completely fucked my system up… linux wouldnt start at all…

I tried looking online for help and i basically needed a flash drive with linux to “fix” the issue…

I didn’t have that, i lost it or whatever…

I took a shot with asking chat gpt and for all its hate… it was somehow able to explain some weird boot loader thing I’ve never heard of and i punched in some commands into the command line, and everything was fixed…

Im not sure the point of the story, but don’t go changing system level shit when your trying to fix your graphics card from crashing while playing no mans sky… i did fix the issue though changing the desktop from cinnamon to xde or something…

But its like a memory bug or something that hopefully gets fixed for amd at some point

Linux really is in a good place I’ve been on it for some months now. It feels like win 7, it doesn’t get in your way, it does what you want it to do when you want it to. And if you fuck something up its because you fucked it up… go fix it…

Nintendo has pulled some shady shit with this system release… While it’s possible for the manufacturer to put the games on the carts, and apparently some are… They have the ability to put just a key on the cart which allows you to download the game… But it still requires you to have the cart in your system to play it…

At least from my understanding…

I can believe this, if he wasn’t such a narcissist or such a lying douche bag who always has to be right and has something to say about absolutely everything while having a story to go with it…

Then he would be a pretty cool guy…

Some of his advice isn’t actually bad though… I watched him for a bit but the more you watch him the more you see him for who he is…

Unless it’s a switch 2 then all you get is a key on the cartridge… Biggest waste of time on both sides

Unless they switch to one of the current Gen engines available, they will keep using the one they have, they just updated it’s now the creation engine 2… and that was for starfield and ES6. And it seemed like the same engine for starfield.

Or you can stop thinking about it like a little douche bag and understand some people just don’t give a fuck…

I already said it but my investment is less than it’s worth and I really don’t care about it… if it does go back up a lot I would rather have it and be able to sell then do another Bitcoin situation

It’s not I assure you… I paid like 50 bucks for the Bitcoin I think maybe 100 at most… I had it for a while… I don’t care about the money it’s mostly written off I just let it sit at this point because you can’t time the market or something

Let me tell you a story… I sold off all my Bitcoin and put it all into GME stock right when it was starting to go up… Because why not right? It wasn’t much like it was worth 1000 bucks or something… Because everyone said the bitcoin bubble was going to pop or something… And then Bitcoin went from 30k to 60k in like two months… And now it’s closer to 100k

Long story short I make bad choices and no fuckin way I’m selling my GME for a loss just for it to double or triple again in two months

I would love for steam to say okay we will do that … and just delist all their games and stop them from listing any future games also… No more player counts…

How does vac play into all of this then …

Edit: I was talking about them labeling vac games as being anti cheat… And wondering if they were going to pull some double standard… I didn’t know they label them already and still don’t know if they do…
