It definitely is. The PS6 is going to be around $1000. When the phone prices went up I started to change phones every 4 years instead of 2. And now I will get the Slim instead of the Pro, even though I always get the latest and greatest.

Laws aren’t going to help keep the price down which is also an issue apart from the digital ownership. It’s always cheaper to buy physical games as they go on sale. What’s stopping Sony from selling PS Exclusive for $100 only in their store?

So Nintendo can force everyone to buy a Switch to play Mario games? From what I see, consoles are locked in as well and we are forced to have PS/Xbox/Switch for their exclusive games.
