Yeah I have my worries in the sale of nexusmods.com. But everything i have read about the new app is really promising and the people working on it have worked on other major mod managers in the past as well. So they seem to know what they are doing. It’s still in really early alpha so if you use it, make backups. Sometimes you have to completely uninstall and then reinstall to update which is annoying. But thats the cost of using alpha software.

They gave up on vortex to make the nexus mods app. Which is pretty impressive so far. I would recommend reading the articles from the makers of it that discuss how they are making it and why. It’s really interesting.

I have been using the nexus mods app for cyberpunk and it’s really slick and easy.

In your article it talks about how performance was bad on old consoles systems. This is where the refunds were mostly provided. ON PC, many users did not have this issue.

As you stated everyones PC is different. There’s no gaslighting. You are just conflating statements.

From your article:

“Despite good reviews on PC, the console version of Cyberpunk 2077 did not meet the quality standard we wanted it to meet,”

Your statement directly conflict with the article you shared.

I have good news for you. The first information released on the sequel was that it’s being built in unreal.

I love Justin Wong. Even though his videos lack polish, he’s always entertaining.

It is. But if you read interviews and watch the podcasts where they talk about it they seemed pretty confident they could make it look just as good. I’m skeptical but hopeful.

Well with this series it started at 0 then the sequels count down from 99. So there’s about 67 other games you need to play.

It was bundled in the announcement of all the silent hill games coming. Which was mostly overshadowed by the SH2 remake.

Okay I have a 63 page presentation on how it would work but before I show you. What guarantee do I have that you will get it made if I convince you?

It was not fun to play. The mechanics were sluggish and stilted. The story was good enough and at the time it was a gorgeous game.

You’re not wrong… But there’s a reason why game preservation has been in the news lately.

It doesn’t happen all the time… Games being kept around is the exception not the rule…

I’m definitely not new. I get the game has had highs and lows. But honestly the vaulting of stuff didn’t bother me too much. Not making excuses for them I understand it’s important to people. But as a long time fan I wasn’t playing it regularly and liked that the game world evolved over time. Also I’m definitely not trying to convince you one way or another I just think a majority of the fans that like destiny today just legitimately enjoy the game and all the new stuff they’ve added. I feel that the expansions have added meaningful gameplay changes and additions but that the story quality has been all over the place.

I’m pretty biased as a destiny fan. But not sure what you mean. Their dlc constantly has a ton to do. Story varies depending on the expansion. But for the most part people aren’t complaining about how much you get in it.

I would say so. I loved replaying it. It feels like you remember it but it’s definitely not.

Have you played Bomb Rush Cyberpunk? I thought it was a great take on the JSR formula.

I agree 100%. The magic was not magic. It was just different looking guns. Which made the game seem more dull to me. Even if it was an okay shooter.

Hades is an amazing game that you can play forever. It is as challenging as you want to make it but to complete the entire story you’ll have to play a lot.

Psychonauts 2 is a great platformer. Very good for casual play. The story is great and it’s very funny.

I like doom eternal better than doom 2016 only because it has more of a rock, paper, scissors feel to the combat than 2016. Meaning you will perform a lot better switching your weapons to fit the enemy. As opposed to 2016 where you can just use whatever you feel like.

I love Deathloop for what it is. A rogue like only to service the story but the best part imo is the pvp. As you said the enemies aren’t varied and are meant to be just an inconvenience unless you get swarmed. Having someone invade your game to ruin your run was a great idea only marred by the fact that the networking is not good and constantly rubber banded depending on the distance between the both of you.

Firewatch is short and enjoyable. You’ll be able to rip through it.

Well you seem to know the story better than the devs. So I’ll take your word on it.

They are suggesting you start over so you can enjoy the rebalance of the game with the updates. They aren’t saying you have to, just that you’ll get the most out of it if you do.
