they promised Windows 10 would be the “last Windows,” too.
Iirc, they didn’t. There was one person who didn’t really have the authority to make such claims say something that could have been understood as win 10 is the last windows.
I hate to defend Microsoft, they’re an awful company, but this just was never really true.
There is a nearly zero percent chance that the game developers are also cloud experts
Well yeah, that’s why you would put some cloud experts on the project besides the game devs if you’re doing things like this. It’s not just game developers working on the game.
Doesn’t even have to be people feom the Azure team. Microsoft has plenty of resources to teach someone to be a cloud expert in other branches, they even offer certifications for outside people, surely they can manage a few of their own.
Yeah it is possible, GrapheneOS flashes their own verified boot key when you install it. This also means you have to reset these keys if you want to go back to stock.
I’m not sure why lineageos doesn’t do this, might just be a lot of work for all the devices they support. GrapheneOS only has to support the last couple of pixels after all.
The only one i still have issues with is going from xbox to nintendo controllers, because they use the same abxy face buttons, but they switched them around.
I like what switch games do when you’re using a single joy-con, they just show a button with an arrow pointing to which direction the button is, so what’s printed on the button doesn’t matter at all.
Are you downloading from several mirrors at the same time? In that case it could be faster because the individual mirrors have a lower bandwidth than you have.
Wonder if google would do something like this, but I would guess they download everything from the same server local to you, so I don’t think it should have any effect really.
I also loved this game on the 3DS. I’ve recently been playing the N64 version as well, and I gotta say the 3DS version is so much better. I’m not sure what it is, but movement feels a lot less precise to me in the N64 version. I have some replays of me trying, and failing, to break a pot with my sword as adult link, like 8 times before finally hitting it.
Also, I finally understand why everyone hates the water temple. The iron boots aren’t an item in this version, so you have to go to the equipment menu every time you want to put them on/take them off.
Single-player console games being 30fps is not new by any stretch
Yeah I know, that’s why I never really got into console gaming unfortunately. As I said elsewhere, I genuinely have trouble making out objects while looking around in first-person games, if it’s running at 30fps.
Didn’t know about the current gen having performance settings, that’s pretty neat. Might actually consider getting one if I can actually run games at a reasonable framerate on them with a lower quality setting.
I’m personally not a huge fan of the ones in the power button, they never worked very reliably in my experience. Even worse than the under-screen ones usually.
I’d love to see phones with a fingerprint sensor on the back though. Granted I have pretty big hands and could easily reach it. Always worked reliably for me, and on my oneplus 5t i could even set actions to swipes on the fingerprint sensor.
hmm that’s weird.
i was wondering what’s up with that, so i took a look at the source code of aurora, and it seems they don’t even call the requireUserAction thing that’s supposed to disable the prompt. As far as I can tell it should just always require the prompt the way the app is built now. Wonder why it doesn’t do it for me then.
If you want to keep using the automatic space setting, set it to insert on suggestions and punctuation. That setting automatically moves the space from after the word to after the punctuation.
