Maybe they are doing it due to how similar gen1 and 2 are to develop on. Gen2 just gets faster processing power. Maybe Nintendo told the devs target 30 fps on gen1 and we will almost guarantee 60 on gen 2. Or something to that effect.

I’ll actually turn on my ps5 for the first time in at least a year. Can’t believe it’s this summer.

Forza Horizon is a great arcade racer. This is the first I’ve heard about the requirement, so maybe after it spreads online, there will be more vocal pushback.

I did 32 because at the time, the price difference to 16gb was like 20 bucks.

Yeah, but you don’t HAVE to fuck the bear.

Joking aside, if romance and sex aren’t your thing, you as the player have control in most games to just not do those things.

They actually tried going into merch full bore, but somehow fucked it up by buying, then destroying ThinkGeek. It was an impressively fast decline too.

Same, I really enjoyed Veilgaurd and actually finished the damn thing, which is rare for me these days. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a good, breezy arpg.

Math cares? With a smaller sample size, even a handful of issues makes the percentage of problems fairly high.

5 bad apples in a dozen is a problem 5 bad apples in a truckload isnt.

I’m enjoying the game. Yes, the dialog misses the mark sometimes, and yes, the combat isn’t as deep as other arpgs. I’m still enjoying the overall game, 7 out of 10 for me. It comes across as a laid-back, easy to play game, which fits my playstyle right now anyway. I think the companion side quests are the highlight so far.

The 10 bucks a month per extra character slot really stood out to me as the icing on the shit cake.

Gamepass is the one reason I can’t switch. I’m with you on the crate software, pretty damn impressive.

Not sure if it’s on sale but Creeper World is a super unique tower defense style game. The 4th one just came out.

Edit- meant 5th one just came out

I swear the next headline is going to be like ex devs of pong to make a new game.

I’m getting so jaded by all these ex dev new game posts.

I think it’s a solid hit. Teamup mechanic is really interesting and actually impacts the match. Team rosters feel more flexible vs OW where specific counters are needed in most cases. I think the art style is a huge win too. It’s consistent across animation, static images, charachter design etc. They didn’t just use existing assets. Microtransactions aren’t shoved in your face. And I love how the battlepass let’s you pick and choose what you want.

Balancing characters will take time, there’s some QoL things I’d like to see, and the crashes need fixing, but really solid out the gate.

This should have been stated day one.

It’s still hollow until they actually do something, but it’s the least they should have done.

Xdefiant was pretty solid. I enjoyed it up until a couple months ago. I think it didn’t put out enough new content for most gamers though.

I haven’t, but strongly considering mods on a restart knowing what some limitations are.

I’m in the last tier, nuclear power, but I am extremely choked on computers right now. I’m a spaghetti mess and considering a restart to be more organized.

I don’t like souls like games. I LOVED Elden Ring. It was the exact balance of controller destroying and fun.

Satisfactory, Black Ops 6 (yeah yeah) Zelda echoes of wisdom

This was me. I eventually bounced around games and tried Satisfactory, a game type I never thought I’d like. Now it’s my new meth and daddy needs his fix.

Your not wrong. I worked for the company, and we were told that it wasn’t actually true like 6 months after launch. I had been communicating it for .o the to my clients.

Didn’t Alien Insurrection use something to learn how you play so the Alien knew to change it’s tactics?

Balatro - Even if roguelike isn’t your thing, try it

Alan Wake 1/2 & Control- if you love creepy atmosphere

Superliminal - unique 1st person puzzle, think portal vibe

Bastion - 1st game from Supergiant, best smash-em-up I’ve ever played

Anything Supergiant for that matter

I’m going to be that guy and probably end up with downvotes. Brave browser. I know Eich is a shitbag but damn the browser is really solid. Adblocking and privacy are front and center and built in, no addons needed. I can think of maybe 5 times in the years I’ve used it that I had to use a backup browser.

I would like to use something else to not support him, but I have yet to find a turnkey browser that doesnt require tons of addons, compatibility issues or the quality of syncing across platforms that Brave.

I just didn’t want to make a blanket statement since I didn’t know if it was every title or not.

Yeah, you’re just flat wrong. MAYBE GoG has the least worst licensing around. A decent number of titles I’ve seen on there don’t have DRM. Also itch.io and direct patreon/kickstarter purchases too. Any other platform, and unless specifically stated, you are just borrowing the game until they decide otherwise.

He’ll, even physical purchases don’t guarantee a game forever, the publisher or dev may turn off a server that just straight kills it.

It’s a pretty solid shooter. I hate to see it fade too quickly.
