The rereleasing was kind of a fan service. EA wanted to add some older titles on Steam, some CNC fans at EA heard about it and pushed them to also add CNC to it. I’m also now holding off with purchasing the collection with hopes of a generals remaster… one can only hope, lol.

For the last part: I’m pretty sure it’s just his thing to do “real” things, instead of scripting, cutting it down, watching it before or anything.

I also very much got the feeling that he acted in a defensive and hurt way, but it’s his real emotion and I can understand it since Linus is bashing the phone much more than “necessary”.

If the car is only a skin and doesn’t change the physics, I’m liking that. To me doesn’t make a difference, since I’m not playing that much, but I feel like that would destroy it for a lot of dedicated players. I just like the new skin being a bit more of a"normal car".

Well they stated that they didn’t guarantee for server uptime anymore, but the last times we tried, it never was available.

It really isn’t. The idea started great, but they focused way too much on lobby play instead of missions. And lobbies were just not good, because of tech problems and because they just gave out overpowered stuff there you can’t counter. It all just felt too much, instead of your character just being a trailer gangster. And it’s very obvious that everything is focused on you having to buy shark cards. I enjoyed 3rd party clients way more.

I’m somewhat with you on this, but most software that’s updating its pricing or is new, is using a subscription model. 2$ really is fine I think, even less with the yearly thing. I’d still like to see a OTP

I’m using the aosp/pixel gesture nav. Took a bit to get used to and I rarely have weird glitches (like using the fast swipe to previous app, but the app manager is yeeting to the last app or so; the nav bar/pill being visible in a video; the pill being on the wrong side of the display after having it rotated), but I like the look and feel. Also I’m still hoping that we will get to the point where it’s “embedded” like in iOS.
