vim is not outdated, it was easy to use to begin with and could not be optimized any further. Yes, there are plugins/extensions/… to add more features, but on a basic install of vim you have everything you need to navigate source code and config files.

Most of your examples are not ‘mobile games’, they are actual games that are also available on mobile devices. That is a big difference in my opinion.

Vaultwarden is a selfhostable bitwarden implementation where all the features are free. (Some are not implemented, though)
