Battle Bit, Overwatch, DRG and World of Warships.

DRG is just a great game, and a new battlepass season just started. The battlepass is free, just a place to unlock cosmetics, no FOMO since they get added to the game’s drop pool once they’re not on the battlepass.

I played through without issue my first play through. I did notice that the police spawn-in system was funky and I discovered how to get rich by crafting cans into things so I was really rich. I had maybe a few weird physics bugs but overall the experience was great. I had a pretty high-end PC at the time so that likely helped.

A friend of mine played through it on the PS4 and he had a lot more bugs and performance issues but he liked the game overall.

I didn’t watch all of the hype leading up to it, or all of the videos that they released promising features and so I can understand how people would feel let down. I went into it 100% blind, I saw the release advertisements, I love the Cyberpunk genre and the reviews were not terrible (bugs, performance issues, etc). So I played it exactly as it was, and it wasn’t bad.

I am super excited for Phantom Liberty. The updated systems all sound really fun and I have a machine that can pull off ray tracing at decent framerates so I’m going to try a playthrough like that.

I enjoyed the playtests. $15 is about the cost of a movie ticket and the game will give you many many more hours of entertainment.

The voice chat was, during the playtest, pretty lighthearted and funny.

The real secret is that a smaller community is generally a better quality experience if you’re looking to interact with other members of the community.

Reddit isn’t trying to foster communities, it is trying to foster content farming so that the masses of casual users can just scroll and look at ads.

Being privately owned by a person who is a video game enthusiast really helps. Gabe already has ‘fuck you’ money and just wants to make video games and gadgets (and, apparently, deep sea submarines!).

If Valve is ever sold it’ll go the route of every other publicly traded company.

My first 1B was made with a market alt and 10m from mission running.

I’m not pre-ordering but I’m cautiously optimistic with the changes I’ve seen.

I’ll watch some streams before I decide, but I’ll probably buy it.

Yeah spreadsheet warrior was like, an entire build. Having easy access to data in excel and an alt in Jita 4-4 was essentially all that was required.

:0

I didn’t know it was available yet, I saw the trailer a while back. Just requested access. Rock and STONE!

Yeah. I use Tempfs for compiling because it gives me a lot more IO.

It’d take some pretty simple scripting to create a tempfs and copy game files into it prior to launching the game. You’d have to dig a bit into each game to ensure that you’re not loading any directories or files that store permanent data but it wouldn’t be too hard.

I welcome any additional competition in the graphics card market.

AMD and NVIDIA have gotten entirely too comfortable.

Diablo 4 - Kinda burned out… 50+ is basically the exact same content on repeat. I’m excited to see where it goes though. I’ll jump back in for Season 1.

Overwatch 2 - To scratch my competitive itch. Sad that PvE has been trimmed down so much.

Deeprock Galactic - Rock and Stone! Best class based FPS PvE experience available on any system. Made me excited about OW2’s PvE. Now I’m excited about DRG 2 (is this a thing?)
