I quit probably 11 years ago. IIRC they did some dumb stuff to cap trades, and I played out most of everything that was very cool & interesting, and they kept adding new stupid skills that I had absolutely no interest in doing. Like the hunting/trapping skill. But then they’d release sick new quests, with good rewards/perks, but to do them you’d have to extensively train up that yucky, boring, dumb “skill” that you would never use otherwise. If not for that quest.
They turned my play into work, and took the fun out of it, and eventually I was like why am I paying these people so I can grind away hours on dumb stuff that I don’t even like?? So I quit.
This is actually super great timing. I’m guessing by safer, they mean, won’t blow your nuts off. 🤭 Might be a good community for us, too.
This is a valid criticism that we talk about…working through supply, using supply, and becoming familiar with it is actually the ideal we should all strive for. 🙂 Idk about any bike, electric or not, that can withstand hard use several times/day for decades. (o_O) But product design is getting better all the time!
Oh I was making a joke, like you posted an ‘or’ comment & I replied Yes like it will do both. 😂 Good bike, blows your balls off.
I’ve been looking at Super73 for years as a CLASSIC styling, really handsome ebike. YouTube search for things like Survival ebike, ebike for preppers. Because you’ll tap into a whole community of people that want good & tough ebikes, not flimsy crap, ebikes that should be good relatively long-term. I trust Canadian Prepper; this video is a little older but information & considerations tend to be relevant years later.
I saw another prepper cheaping it with $700-800 ebikes, if I find it I’ll post name & link…
Anyway jokes aside I hope that helps. Idk your situation but I’d almost be tempted to wait just a few more years; pandemic/oil prices have pushed so many ebikes into the wild & that has brought about soooooo much real-world testing & consumer feedback. I’m thinking the ebikes just a few years from now will be so much better, and possibly for cheaper or the same price.
Oh that’s fine, I’m glad it’s working for you. I just remember I tried to put some form of Magisk on my rooted S8 Active & it was just a whole thing, I don’t think I was successful. My financial stuff, my Samsung wallet, and even Snapchat didn’t work.
Next phone & on, I thought about the reasons why I rooted in the first place. Enough of those reasons are resolved, or a non-issue now. I’ve turned into a more boring, regular adult that streams, surfs web, checks email, calls/texts. I’ve grown tired of jumping through hoops. 👍🏻 😴 Definitely miss making my battery last forever, though.
Would not recommend rooting anymore, as many apps that have a financial/banking/CC aspect will stop working. Like this one. Rooting used to serve great purposes & had no drawbacks; now there aren’t many perks and many punishments. Even your Snapchat will refuse to work, probably because “you can use Snapchat to send & receive money”. No one does, but that doesn’t matter.
That sucks & I’m sorry. This (probably) wouldn’t have helped with a banking app, which forces you to update frequently, but I do not update apps unless: they are buggy, there’s an update I’d really like, or I am forced. Not all updates are good.
I only have one app that I got & use specifically for work stuff. It’s great for many things beyond just work, though.
It’s called Auto Text, formerly Do It Later. Don’t even bother with the free version, the paid version is much better & if you need it you will love Auto Text.
Got a message you need to send out, daily, & to multiple contacts in individual SMS text messages/not a super annoying group chat?? Auto Text is for you. Set up a message, the frequency, and how long you want the cycle to repeat. You can even customize it to address EVERY SINGLE CONTACT by their name, or spit out various dates. ! .
Don’t need to send timed, scheduled, customizable individual SMS text messages? Auto Text can also send smart auto replies, for when you’re sleeping, on vaca, driving, etc.
Once you get it set up, it really is a great & versatile app.
Depending on marketing & their dedication to bringing it to market…again… they can & they do. Digitally. Nintendo has sold old video games on the Wii, Wii U platform. Then, they packaged & released the NES & SNES Classic consoles, very smart move actually & it was a cute product that appealed to many consumers.
Since then, Nintendo’s greed has grown. They no longer sell because they don’t want you to own copies of old videogames…they want to rent them to you by the month or year. Via Nintendo Online subscriptions, you can browse the whole catalog & play all kinds of old games. It requires a Switch, an internet connection, and don’t forget that sweet, sweet Nintendo Online subscription. Once you’ve gotten your fix & you cancel your subscription, you own nothing & they’ve got your money. This is their goal, everything is going according to plan. Subscription models for endless reven on old games.
You will give them your money, you will own nothing, and you will be happy.
