To you know if wechat or alipay work? I need these while traveling. They use QR codes for payment and other services. I wish this took off everywhere as nfc payments are locked into only a few apps.
At 299 or 399, but at 499?? That’s a hard pass. You can get a used pixel for less and better specs. I get it that people like new, but phone innovation has mostly stalled.
Facebook is the only way for me to keep up with what’s happening in my town. Lots of the older generation of people are on it and always post what’s the best repair people, events or other news worthy things. Basically local news feed.
Since it’s not active, it looks to just be geo based as changing my VPN location makes it work… This was my first time visiting the website and it was showing someone opening an egg he boiled for 2 hours… 💀
I’m running a pixel 7 with out a protector, but a basic phone case. Run fine and it’s going to be supported by 3rd party roms for that extra security/os longevity.
Android uses a Just-in-Time (JIT) compile of applications. You can compile everything Ahead-of-Time (AOT) via adb. It would in theory improve performance when starting applications.
