Adding in an engine that extracts assets from the the game is pointless here. The dev made everything from scratch, models, programming, gameplay, etc. Only things straight from Bloodborne are a few voice clips and the music. And thats not even the reasoning for the takedown. So an engine to extract as you propose would be completely useless for this project.
Maybe I should have said more jank. Two Worlds you can kill the final boss within the first few minutes of the game by having the villagers beat him to death.
Or stacking 30 traps on top of each other so when an enemy walks onto it they instantly die.
Or putting traps down in an enemys path and watching them hit every single one in a row.
Man i love how broken Two Worlds is.
From what ive seen Nintendo’s only gone after projects when they’re too close to what their doing internally, like with AM2R or that 99 mario game. (also worth mentioning those werent open source projects)
And I still haven’t seen Nintendo go after an open source project. They haven’t touched any of the sm64 decomp nor have they the Ocarina ones.
Twitch has been downhill since Justin.tv shut down. Nothing they do surprises me anymore.
