Just a below average idiot that mostly comments for one of 3 reasons:

Catharsis, expressing exasperation over the general state of things.

Looking to make someone laugh.

Self deprecation.

Two of their biggest mistakes were: one, essentially hiding the fact that the single player game Squadron 42 has taken the lions share of the development focus for the last 6+ years. This makes it appear like they just don’t know what they’re doing at all with star citizen and that’s why they’re slow (they still don’t 100% know what they’re doing).

Second, they made their sound design guy who was just interested in being a pilot and eventually learned how, to be their lead ship performance/gameplay director/developer (not sure exactly on the title name.) that has lead to the ships just not flying how people want or expect them to. That and Chris Roberts wants “WWII, star wars, type dogfights” when people want Newtonian physics, excess speed, fighting.

A special third I suppose: they need money to continue, I get that, but there is a special place in hell for their marketing team.

I’ve read that there’s another fix that adjusted the displayed vram usage to accurately show your actual usage: previously it was showing too low. Might need to go and readjust settings if you’re now reading too high.

Sounds about right.

Project 2025: Fuck literally everything good in this world. Work to death and be forced to praise Jesus.

No! If I can’t make money off it then no one can have it!!”

-everyone, apparently.

:(

You can trust us! We use words! See, I’m saying things and that means it’s set in stone and I’m totally not lying! We just spent the money out of charity, we’re not looking to get an immediate return on investment and then increase profit from there on! No, never!

trying not to have too much of a spoiler

The game has a new game + type mechanic that allows you to grow stronger in a specific way that I won’t ruin. Unfortunately that means focusing on an outpost or series of outposts becomes somewhat pointless.

Depending on whether you care about the extra strength or not, you could either play through a few times to build up that strength, or just stick to your single game and build your outposts there.

Aside from what I wrote in the spoiler (which I hope really didn’t spoil anything) if you’re on PC I really suggest giving the Star Wars Genesis mod a try when you’re done! It’s a complete overhaul and it’s pretty damn cool!

I actually went back to give star citizen a shot since they added these “flight school” type missions that actually pay pretty well. It’s a chill experience to just pop on after work and do like 6-8 of them since they only take a few minutes each and then log off.

Other than that I found this game hard time 3 that is absolutely unhinged madness. It’s a janky messy game, but it’s fun chaos to mess with for a bit. It’s free on mobile, but I bought it on steam. It already has a horrendous camera and dealing with that on mobile is just asking for an aneurysm.

Conservatives on the Supreme court: money is speech, corporations can have unlimited speech now.

People: BDS!

Conservatives: no, not like that.

I get that and for 99% of monster hunter it’s fine, but a parry should be like a guard/perfect guard for weapons that can’t block. Those are quick responses when you’re in a situation you know you’re going to get hit in. With wilds the majority of the parrys are like 1-2 seconds of winding up when you only have a half of a second to react.

Something like longsword was built for this, so the gameplay is about waiting for attacks, but every other weapon isn’t. The time spend waiting to parry is better spent moving yourself into a better position for something else.

I’ve been playing my for like 20 years, I’m fine with the anticipation part in general it’s just stupid for parrying. The time spent waiting for an attack you know is coming is better spent setting yourself up elsewhere as opposed to risking winding up a slow parry. Obviously weapons like longsword were built with that in mind so that’s different as it’s part of the intended play style.

Perfect block is fine since it’s quick enough that it works as it should, but there are a number of weapons that have extremely slow parrys.

“Parry” in monster hunter wilds: too slow to be a reactive option, user must be psychic or memorize monster movements in order to anticipate next potential movement… I hate it.

I do love parrying as a general concept though.

If they were smart they would put all of their eggs into squadron 42, make it as good as they can

They did, it’s why star citizen was lagging behind so hard for so long. All the production focus went into squadron 42 like 6ish years ago. Squadron 42 is announced for release next year and since the announcement they turned production focus back to star citizen. Still SC 1.0 is going to be years away still because they’re so damn slow with everything they do…

How dare the game teach me how to play! I want to be tossed into the world and complain that there’s no direction!

Thank you for sharing this! Why should journalists verify anything, right? It’s not like it’s their job to report factual information they researched or anything…

Hell they finally got me too… They can thank Intel for royally fucking up 13-14 gen and then releasing a new chip that wasn’t much better than previous ones to warrant the price.

I always built Intel PCs out of habit mostly, but I just got a 9800x3d last week for my rebuild.

Stop! You violated the law!

I was so happy to see the leaks were true. I’ve been dying for an elder scrolls game with modern graphics and whatnot.

One is specifically tied to the other. These people are being manipulated into being right wing pro-authoritarian voters because of “woke” blah blah blah. It’s always their boogie man because it has been made part of their identity, it’s part of the victim complex they have and they feel like “free speech warriors” when they fight against it… It’s fucking disgusting.

Difficulty settings are wack. Normal is too easy and hard is way too hard. The slider literally goes from 1x/1x damage taken/damage dealt to 3x/0.6!

This was my only real complaint, other than them taking the noise cue away from lockpicking! I’ve really been itching for an elderscolls game with modern graphics and QOL so I’m super happy.

As for the lockpicking I learned something recently from a video and now I never break a pick. I can’t believe I never knew this:

Basically when you hit one tumbler there are the 3 drop speeds right? You push it up and it falls either slow, med, or quick. They “switch” between those three speeds when the tumbler falls back to the starting position.

If you hit a tumbler up and HOLD up (I’m on controller), or whatever key is up, then the tumbler will bounce slightly in the fully raised position. When it’s like this it will be remaining in the “fall speed” from when you first triggered it. We want it to be the slow fall speed so basically while it’s bouncing if you see any spring between “bounces” it’s too fast, let it fall to the starting position and try again.

If it’s bouncing and you can barely see any movement at all let alone any spring then it’s in the slow position, that’s what we want. When it’s like that watch the lockpick and when the lockpick is moving upwards trigger the lock with whatever the confim button is for you. It should always work!

They didn’t fix shit that the unofficial patch fixed years ago. Like actual broken things just stayed broken… I did the main story mission in Kvatch and the NPC you followed into battle after you clear the oblivion gate got stuck in a courtyard. I looked up the issue and apparently it is a bug from the original game that the unofficial patch fixed… They know fixes exist, they just spent literally 0 time implementing them knowing “we” will do it for free…

As far as management goes x4 foundations is an awesome space game! I have hundreds of hours in that game spent just messing around with an industrial empire, buying mining ships, setting trade routes, all that fun stuff. You don’t even have to fight anything if you don’t want to.

I’m enjoying it quite a bit!

… except for the fucking lockpicking…

Whyyy did they have to make it so much harder?! It’s so unforgiving now and they took away the noise cue! I used to be able to do it without even looking at the screen because you could hear a distinct sound when it clicked into place. Now there are 3 different drop speeds and the sounds are so minimal…

I’m so happy to have been wrong about the shadow drop! Now I just need to get through the rest of the day at work lol

I want these to be good for many reasons, but especially since I have a friend that works on one of the teams that are making them lol

Booooooo… So not today. I’m doubting the same day drop. Knowing marketing asshats they’ll want to run a week or more of advertising first especially if they’re calling this a reveal. :/

It’s actually pretty fun especially if you’re watching something on another screen and just like to grind for items/levels. They have a free demo as well so I’d suggest anyone that finds this concept interesting to try it out!

They even have simulated global chat where people are assholes to each other lol very true to life.

…one would hope that’s the point of a driver update all the time, no?

What is O&O? I’m not to keen on jumping to Linux either, but I REALLY don’t like the idea of having recall active and having Microsuck know literally everything I do…

There are three guarantees in life:

Death

Taxes

The ultra wealthy will completely fuck up a society for personal gain.

Thanks for sharing this! I was literally just listening to Snuff again last week at work I had no idea he was inspired by the elder scrolls!

This is why I really don’t want to have to use Linux, but Microsuck just can’t stop with the fucking greed and I’m absofucukinglutly not running anything with recall… :(

The only reason I’m still on windows 10 is because I’m dreading the weekend of head banging against table I’m going to have when I do the switch to Linux before October… Not looking forward to getting it all set up and working

Imagine suing a moderator/instance operator for banning you from an instance… Warranted or not, it’s their fucking decision…

They are both such pieces of shit, but then again they’re billionaires so of course they’re pieces of shit…
