I used to work in game development as a Designer, Programmer and even QA. Definitely missed the industry at times but seeing the state it’s in now, I’m glad I left. I’m fortunate to have experienced it around the time of PS3’s launch, it all went downhill after that it seems.

Sure thing! Message over your friend code or whatever and I’ll add you to my friends list and get you a deadlock invite. I’ll do it in the morning, have a good one!

Sure thing! I have to add you to my friends list for me to be able to invite you inside Deadlock. You can DM me your friend code if you don’t want to post it here.

I hope it’s wrong and it’s not effectively an Alyx sequel. Not a huge VR fan

The Division 2 is fantastic co-op and often gets put on sale.

As an initial fan of Red Dead Online, I couldn’t agree more. They’re too drunk on shark card cash to care. It was a good run.

Hopefully it’ll be popular enough that they’ll dust off Bully 2 and resume development. One can hope.

Any chance you can invite anymore? I’d love to give this game a try, huge TF2 fan.

Join it and then you can invite the desperate folk like me!

Ace Combat 7 plays very well on SteamDeck too

I started on Mlem and found Memmy a bit more Apollo like, seems to be working better for me

Imagine growing up with the latest iPhone on you now. Can’t imagine the difference.

Awesome, never knew about that one. Looks like it was a blast.

I’d buy it

It’s an image. I was using Mlem too, now giving Memmy a shot and the experience seems better

Remember the little note section at the end of some manuals to scribble your tips and codes?

Some will never experience the wonder of intensively reading the manual of a game on the way home from a store. Discs are becoming as rare as Manuals now.

In that time and place, it was magical

Same here. We had this and a bunch of other games on our school computer and got very little done.

That experience is a badge of honor

For some reason we had this, Oregon Trail, Scorched Earth and Commander Keen on our school computers. We got very little done.

We got nothing done at school because of this game.

I never actually played this at home. They had it on our school computers and it was a mainstay of the day.

I think by that point I was lost to Doom

It’s Scorched Earth! Looks comically simple now but boy was that a blast.
