That’s disappointing given the strides Xbox has made in the past.
It’s a bethesda game, it will probably be modded in before the game has been out for a week
Doesn’t do a lot of good on console.
Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 both have mod support on console, I’m sure Starfield will have it too.
If your counterpoint would be Fallout 76, that’s an MMO
I thought they are limited on what they can do and the mods have to be approved no? So you can’t just do whatever you want like most mods.
The only major limits are for Playstation, which don’t allow custom assets (models/textures). Globally, mods that require large script changes or go against Bethesda modding TOS (like those mods that let you kill children and sex mods) are not allowed. Can not be allowed in the case of script changes.
I’ve seen plenty of custom assets on the PlayStation version’s mod store for FO4… 🤨
Huh. What’s Sony’s objection to those?
People are coping so hard with starfield. There have been several major red flags already and I have really low expectations. I’m going to wait a week for reviews and real gameplay, and then make a decision.
