Some big news came in over the weekend, as we got to see how subscriber numbers have been changing over the last 8 years! The data comes from a Games Developer Conference (GDC) presentation by Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Warcraft franchise John Hight, summarized on Korean sit...

“they made up lines without giving numbers, what about x types of users?”

“There can’t be more than y types of x users” where y is yet more made up numbers.

What is wrong with people? Why do people shill for blizzard still?

You weren’t kidding. People really shilling hard in those comments when there’s no numbers at all given and it’s all guesstimates at best.

People are putting numbers together. It’s not total guess as we know numbers from shareholders meetings. At least roughly.

What we don’t see is the split between classic and retail. Two camps split among which one is more “dead”.

I didn’t know works of warcraft was still a thing. Glad I shook that monkey of my back years ago
