I wonder what the issue was
Probably shouldn’t have talked about their update till they pushed it. I understand the desire to generate some good publicity, but now you’ve gotta backpedal when you’re already on your toes.
For real. Patches don’t need hype. Just fucking release it when it’s ready
Same with game launches. If you’re a major studio, the hype will generate itself, so just release when it’s ready.
They promised regular update intervals every couple of weeks to try and pad the flow of criticism.
So theyre talking about the update because if they dont, people will point out that theyve already missed the proposed schedule
