Forget that, I was mixing up which game I remembered. I thought LOF2 was the one with the insane painter. I know I’ve played both, though (plus Observer), but can’t recall a single damn detail about the second game. I guess the experience was too bland to even retain.
Its a Bloober game, so its going to be mid-at-best and have horrendous performance issues. Most likely a walking simulator overfilled with the only thing Bloober thinks is scary: jump scares. Absolutely no subtlety in the story either.

I don’t mind walking sims as long as I know what I’m in for and the mood/story is worthwhile. I really liked AMFP, for example.
But LoF 1 just didn’t do it for me. Sounds like 2 is more of the same. The parts where it entered horror were a bit distasteful for me
