Today’s game is (probably) the last bit of Undead Nightmare. I completed the story and only have a few more challenges along with the Lost souls left to do.
Beating the story, i was prepared to basically never be allowed into a town again. I had vivid memories of survivors basically opening fire on Zombie Marston on sight from watching my dad play. After all, he’s a zombie, why wouldn’t they open fire on them?
It turns out though they’re completely chill and even will greet him. I walked right up to these two and just posed for a selfie basically. This lead me to the revelation that it turns out my dad basically got into hot water with all the towns, probably by shooting someone and my entire thought about the post game from my childhood was wrong.
The mummies are creepy as fuck. Something about their tall lanky ass figures unsettles me. Luckily they were easy to dispatch. I ended up just blasting them in the face with a shot gun and using the blunderbuss to blow them to little (zombie) bits.
While i was out hunting for bears to beat to death with a torch (as one does), i saw a Sasquatch. I thought these fuckers were extinct after i gunned them all down for a quest. Anyways, it makes me a little happy to see them wandering around, and also that the one at the end of the quest lived. It turns out he’s not so alone anymore.
After that i went back to trying to hunt the bears for the rest of the night. I’m having some trouble with it though. It keeps running from the torch for the mission. I tried lassoing it but that also doesn’t work. I’ll have to try something else. It’s a shame headshots kill it because i could weaken it otherwise.
