They might not keep a game from going to a platform like Sony does, by literally preventing it from being ported, but thay doesnt mean they have to port the game. I don’t see what this is supposed to mean other than saying they don’t specifically prevent games from being ported (such as exclusivity deals).

I mean it makes sense, I just finished the anniversary edition on my smart toaster so they had to come up with a new way to make me pay for it again.
I’m assuming this is still PR to assuage people after buying a billion studios recently. It’s a shame MS has released so few games actually worth playing for the past decade. I think this statement might hold the slightest bit of water if that was the case.
