A gaming sub free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it’s price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don’t meet the system requirements, or just haven’t had the time to keep up with the latest releases.
No memes please.
Just got a copy of Icarus for 1/3 off a couple days ago. Crafting and survival game. Enjoying it so far, has some similarities to Ark, Valheim, etc.
Vampire survivors is super cheap. Playing the new couch coop is pretty fun, even if you’ve played before.
No direct recommendation, but IsThereAnyDeal is great for sales (including those not on steam directly, which for several years were far better, now steam is catching up again). You can keep it in sync with your steam wishlist, and set price targets to get notified, here’s the last waitlist new best price mail I got:

I should probably clean up my wishlist…
You could also create a non-synced watchlist on ITAD directly if you’d rather start over ;)
I was just about to post this. I’d used it for the occasional one-off of a game I’m interested in and only recently learned I can sync my wishlist with it.
I picked up Civ 6 for $5, which ain’t bad.
I wasn’t patient enough for that one 😂
ixion has a cool story for a city builder.
it’s like FTL with Frostpunk mechanics.
I got Psychonauts 2, really cool game.
